Sorry to hear that kemo, the whole thing makes me angry, the UK should not be there, shouldnt have been from day 1.
Keep your eyes peeled in racing for a young Lt Guy Disney.Amazing fellow, lost his leg below the knee. That is not amazing itself I know but he is a brilliant horseman and his ambition was to get his jockeys licence and be the first amputee to ride under rules, culminating in the Military races at Sandown. Lost track and touch but if he still has the ambition he would be odds on to be the first amputee to get a licence, will try and catch up and update you. |

Btw the horse winning 27/08/79...........should have been a day to celebrate but Lord Mountbatten and many colleagues were murdered that day at Warren Point.
On a lighter note......we emptied every bookie in Colchester when Ten Up won ridden by Captain Hodges Royal Artillery. ![]() |

Just seen the head-on, and as starfish & coffee and ged called it, more than enough space for him against the stands' rail; and even if he was anticipating Kelly coming across him and taking his ground, what the head-on also shows, is Spencer then keeping the horse in behind the eventual winner until the race is virtually over.
The stewards in this country are a feckin joke, imo. |
