Unbelievable.
By:
can't stand rides like that trying to win cheekily. just get the job done
By:
No need for it al all, has loads of horse so should have just brought him outside.
Acted the smartarse and got what he deserved. |
By:
must be a stewards
By:
there wasn´t even a feckin gap! useless pratt!
By:
I hope Roger didn't back it - he's gonna be incandescent with rage!
By:
Looks horrible on the head on, absolutely no gap.
By:
Only lost a fiver on that but all the same, no need for trying to be clever
By:
Brutal
By:
10 ACRES OF ROOM DOWN THE OUTSIDE
By:

disgusting no stewards, surely have to satisfy customers, irrelevant of result there was interference, even if they make lee in the wrong.
Customers need an explanation. |
By:
agree dreadful ride, the only enquiry needed should be into how lengthy his ban is
By:
Will that be G Lees' 1st and last ride for Ellison?
By:
they don't need an enquiry into the result like weaver says pires, it's not the other jockeys problem if lee tries going for a gap that doesn't exist
By:
I'm sure he has ridden for Ellison before ?

8.10, sixth race
The Stewards noted that the winner, JEZZA, had interfered with BROUGHTONS BANDIT, placed fourth, in the final furlong, but after viewing a recording of the incident they were satisfied that it neither involved a riding offence nor improved JEZZA’s placing. |

Even more unbelievable is the racing post analysis!
"Capellanus wasn´t suited by dropping in trip when finishing in rear in a 1m4f handicap here 28 days previously having won a ´Jumpers Bumpers´ here on his penultimate start. Returned to the C&D of that success he travelled strongly and was seen cantering 1f out. His rider waited to the last minute to get after him but despite running into traffic his finishing effort was disappointing." ![]() |

By:
who the heck are these people?..........if he went to the outside, he would have won by 3 lengths
By:
winner without a penalty
By:
I went out earlier so didn't see any races but just watched the replay,
comments after the race are with HINDSIGHT but as the race was panning out, Lee was there with a gap and at a crucial moment, both horses in front of him veered and closed the gap, how this can be deemed as his fault is beyond me, yes he could've gone to the outside but that is with HINDSIGHT ! |
By:
There was never a gap timeless, head on showed that.
By:
Why gamble anyway? Just coast to the outside and win on the bridle.
By:
dan
as someone connected with the stable, do you know if are they unhappy with the ride ?! |
By:
Brian moans about the jockeys when they've given them perfectly good rides, he'll have been seething!
By:
These things happen tbf, but i'm amazed anyone can think that horse wasnt very unlucky not to win tonight.
By:
he was unlucky alright but I can/can't see it as the jockey's fault,
afterall he only has split seconds to make decisions but we discuss it afterwards with hindsight ! |
By:
Game of opinions timeless...class jockey but if he could ride that race again another 100 times he'd win every time IMO.
By:
"he was unlucky alright but I can/can't see it as the jockey's fault"
are you a racing jurno? ur being very nice to graham. |
By:
dan , how much would you have won on that ?
only cost me about £100 |
By:
not much more harold, i could've done with a winner though!
By:
"he was unlucky alright but I can/can't see it as the jockey's fault"
are you a racing jurno? ur being very nice to graham. the point is, I am commenting NOT having backed the horse and as such, can be impartial, but I can also see how I'd be gutted if I'd backed it and see it lose the way it did ! |
By:
I get the feeling he's going to get a lot of stick on here compared to his winning rides, last seasson his rides were underbet considering it became more obvious he was improving.Lets hope the same happens this season coming!

Plenty of winning rides no comment but you can be assured as night turns into day one bad one will attract plenty.
