No surprise to anyone who saw his tipping service, imo...

If he can't tip a winner virtually ever it is really hard to keep listening to his drivel.

Who is the bigger mug, those that listen to him hoping for betting insights or Cunningless himself. For those who ignore the media he does us a great favour

Hes ok. he is very eloquent and makes a good case for his choices but these people get it wrong as we all do.

Yep Sactuaire had a cracking chance `at the prices`Laugh

Yep Grands Crus will love conditions after his breathing operation.

Yep i like aftertiming

You can accept pundits like Mr Cunningham getting it wrong (we all do), but, your two bets for the punters are a a horse to beat the best National Hunt horse in training and one who hasn't proven his stamina over the distance on the worst possible ground beggars belief.

The guy will do ok on channel 4 as he can talk for England (good airtime filler).

and what was the good case for sanctuaire becoming the best horse in training all of a sudden

Someone should start logging his "bets" lets see how he does over say 6 months ?

It will be a negative figure tho

He thought Sacre could be vulnerable on the ground.

Quite like him generally,at least he does his homework. I must say I was somewhat surprised by his 2 selections today though.

Having said that I'd have been more impressed if you had put this thread up before said races, warringtonwire.
Aftertiming is a wonderful thing......not.

Flyingbolt I agree. If hed put up sprinter sacre the comments would have been " anyone could have picked that" so a no win situation for the pundit. At least he had the rocks to go against the fav. It was far easier to go the other way.

He still thought SS would win, but opposable at the price. Not too difficult to understand, is it?

He's just a guesser that's good at talking about guessing, imo...

He did not have to get involved in that race. These where his charity bets.

The charity is nor for the bookmakers by the way.

"I think it will win but its not value" is probably the oldest pundit line going, you come out with credit either way

I thought there was a fair case for backing Sanc in double figures, myself. I didn't expect to collect, however.

So why not sit the race out regarding his charity betsConfused try picking something which he fancied to win.

grand crus was a bit of a bizarre selection imo.

Yes Roo, if his concern for SS was the ground then surely the same would apply to GC after his breathing Op.

Probably as he thought Sanc represented good value on the day. As I understand it, they are mythical bets.

Grand Crus was a little odd yes, but the race was weak if you took the opinion that IC was past it.

it was 6 to 1 2nd best against a 1 to 5 shot, the 9, 10,s on betfair were prices offered by far better judges of the race than yifter
By:

I agree with that,AG.
I'm all for opposing "shorties" that you think are vulnerable but not ones you think will probably win.

Money goes to charity does it not? How is that mythical?

It`s the stake that is virtual but the winnings go to charity. Doh

I notice there is no thread praising Fitzy after tipping

3.35 Cheltenham - Reve De Sivola - £50 win  1st (15/8)
4.10 Cheltenham - Mr Watson - £25 e/w  1st (11/4)

The poor bloke gets ignored when he does good.

Your're right about aftertiming threads, I did express my surprise at Cunningham's selections in ReaseHeath's thread at 1300.
