Or perhaps people with more intellect and knowledge than a muppet like you who thought it would work warhan?

You would qualify on that count alone, warhorse.
He was a chancer. Get over it. |

He was warned many, many times that this was doomed to failure and responded in a way, as he posted above, that he knew far better than anyone else.
What makes you think posters are dole seekers? If you think martingale is obviously flawed it equals you survive on benefits? I'd suggest people who've used the martingale system would be the ones in need of assistance! |

in april/may/june this year i experimented by using a roulette wheel to pick the horse. backing in every race £2 to win
showed a very small profit after comm each month less than £40. not so sure of the form book after that, & have not had a serious bet since (friend of mine did same may& june similar result) |
|
By:
he is still 200 in profit, he was at 3100 bank, must still have 5 or 6 more bites yet, yer gobshytes.

Racingstar, expect your thoughts carry a good deal of substance, number of selections was surprising, no denying that, similarly though they still showed an overall profit, so personally for now prepared to give the OP the benefit of the doubt.
We have all rubbished his approach because the stats tell us it is not viable, consequently in my book the stats on his selections have to be believed until they do or don't go awry, should he choose to continue to post them, which I very much doubt as a day like today should have hit home hard. As I said earlier if he persists along the same path then it is definitely blind stubbornness or ego, or perhaps a combination of the two. |
|
By:
aye as i thought more moley attention seeking, care to link any.
|
|
By:
warhan - if the OP had posted his bet receipts i am sure he would have got a different response from most people .
|

By:
Vino Griego,advised last night would be backed 20s into 13/292nd),Me Fiene 11/2 > 10/3 won,Kampai 17/2 > 5/1 won.Max Lay Tower 7/2 unplaced all on Skintos threads.Runswick Royal won 32Bsp 16Isp,Forecast £7.21 + tricast £39.78 1710 Wolves (eddies thread),place lay 1st 3 in 15.05 Haydock (richters thread),lay In Salutem 1800hrs Dundalk 3rd 15/8.
Probably a few more floating about Manxy,a couple of losers as well but fair to say even you could have made a huge profit backing them instead of seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeething.hth ![]() |

By:
Whether the op posts his bets or not i thought this forum was a place for people to post their opinions on what they fancy and how they go about making money from it or try to.what it seems is anyone who fails to post a successful 'system' or opinion on the said sport faces ridicule from those who apparently make money and are quick to point out how th the op will fail.gd luck to all i just get the impression that the animosity from certain posters stems from their own failure
|
|
By:
Personally i think that anyone who posts up this sort of thing deserves to get some stick if it all goes wrong because by posting they are seeking some form of adulation and crave it, there is usually some form of ego present for the need to post stuff up like this......if people post up stuff that is successful or accurate they will be praised soon enough....the opposite is true also...you pays your money and all that!
|
|
By:
Plenty of sound advice given by enough posters warhan, not simply a case of wanting someone to fail.Experience, knowledge and advice given freely by some.Sometimes it is necessary to sound harsh to get a point across but I cant see a problem if some ridicule as well,as cruel as it may seem.
Posters put themselves up and are quick to accept praise and bask in the limelight, they cant then whinge and sulk if the wheels come off because of a statement they have made.A simple tweak of the OPs heading would have made the difference imo eg I am going to try this and see if it works. You should perhaps also note that those who do post regularly and pick the odd winner dont bump their successful threads to seek some sort of glory eg koikeeper,Skinto et al? |
|
By:
Sorry,Skinto was a typo.
![]() Only kidding SoGY.........honest. ![]() ![]() |

I wouldn't either but i'd be sat there begging someone to do it for me ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
Don't recall the op sulking or whinging and only replied to the thread on the day when giving his selections hence the 'bump' and maybe its the 'odd' winner rather than regular winners that creates the animosity
|
|
By:
I hope the OP keeps putting up his picks, whether he has backed previously or not, or intends to in the future, at least that way we will get a better idea of how good or bad his strike rate truly is, the sample we have at the moment is not enough to make a judgement on either way.
|
|
By:
aye if he has any sense, he will level stake now, starting with 2.2k
|
|
By:
I was referring to posters in general warhan, every week for donkeys years they appear with the Holy Grail, bask, whinge, bump, complain, blame everything they can for failure and then disappear.Until that time when they think everyone has forgotten their previous and re-incarnate.
The OPs biggest downfall on this thread was his previous attempt at the same thing.........not to mention being one of the few who still has two user names to heap praise on each other.hth ![]() |

whatyoulookingat I wasn't about yesterday so have just revisited to see how you got on
I am saddened to see that things went off track after you having such a successful run Good luck with whatever you decide to do in your efforts to add to your reduced profits The main thing is to keep the faith as all is not lost and may never be lost |

Well, any semblance of credibility the OP might have had certainly has gone! ROFFL |

I hope he does have another go today. At the end of the day he's only telling us what he would be betting on.No harm done to any of us.Still an interesting follow.
