Am I correct in understanding that the gentleman that started this thread has lost out? If so then I offer my sincere commiserations. Keep your chin up m8 & dont let those sorts that dance on graves grind you down. |

He would have earnt more respect from me if he had said "I have heard about this system that I can win £100 a day so I am going to have a mythical bank of 2k and select 10 horses a day to see if it can be done".rather than saying he's been doing it for a while and making a ton a day.As I say if he does ever do it for real,I wish him well.

the thread is all fantasy hth

Ok OP the inevitable has happened as forecast by so many of us, all is not lost though if you have finally seen the light.
Todays debacle has seen you wipeout 82 percent of your profit in preference to 22 percent if you had applied level staking to your selections from the outset. You have been commended for your strike rate 30/113 in the Win market which is 27 percent, in the place market it reads 64/113 for a 57 percent strike rate, the respective points profits being Win 44 Place 22. So to all intents and purposes it shouldn't require you to have too much of a rethink, keep making your selections as you have been doing but change to a straightforward level staking plan, gl |

By:
Did he not say,"Discipline is vital"?
He then puts another two up after he fails to get one right with ten stabs! |
|
By:
You have absolutely no idea whether the thread is fantasy or not. To claim that it is means you are just guessing
|
|
By:
The title certainly is, dealer, and that's the point.
|
|
By:
tdr... have you read the whole thread and if so do you believe everything he has said.

Even If the thread was fantasy... it was entertaining.

I did warn you back on page 1 that these systems are always doomed to fail. Today was going to happen, just surprised it took soo long. Although there has been some manipulation to survive this long from what i have read.

Mythical or real, to all of us it is really immaterial, for the OP though, whether paper trading or committing his cash, it should have surely cleared up any doubts about the system being applied, far too high risk for little if any possible reward.
The ability to pick winners/places is clearly there, no one can or should dispute that on the evidence to hand, convincing the OP to utilise that knowledge by applying a level staking plan is the continuing problem, which implies he is too stubborn for his own good or was at the back of the queue when they were handing out common sense. |
|
By:
2 weeks is long enough for you to decide that CL?
|
|
By:
Given todays performance most unlikely the alter ego will make an appearance tonight
|
|
By:
"The ability to pick winners/places is clearly there"
ROFFL. A blindfolded Chimp will pick a winner from ten stabs on occasions. The trouble is,the chimp and the OP cannot do it often enough to generate an income. |
|
By:
Would stress not for anyone else to follow, the dealer, but a starting point for the OP to start using his bank wisely in an effort to increase it over time.
At the moment he can only be judged on the selections he has posted and they show a healthy profit for the 12 days that this thread contains, whether that be from study, good luck or a scattergun approach, who knows, only time will tell if he can keep his head above water. Racingstar, you are to keen to condemn, you do not know anymore than the rest of us whether the OP can/could keep up a viable strike rate, a much larger sample of data is required before anyone can make that call either way. |
|
By:
Cork,
There are no systems that work (ask Moley as he has had them all). There is,good knowledge, hard work and discipline. That will do for me. |

By:
Racingstar, I was not advocating the use of any system (certainly not the one the OP has been applying) merely pointing out that for him personally on the evidence to date, a level staking plan would be preferable going forward.
