I think I'll bag layer of the day, knowing (sort of) that the only Soaring Spirits  at the end of my race would be mine at 3.93.   Have to say, no one else remotely close! However, memo to self: beware hubris!

The remaining two novices both crashed to the ground at the eighth. Hard luck east end boy and stormysea. So near yet oh so far.   However, our cockney hero at least leaves with a small profit AND a shiny bronze medal for coming third by dint of his overall return. So very well done for that.

So china castle, me old settling partner, it's down to thee and me.   Hardly a **** paper between our prices today so no clues there to who's leading. Maybe all those stars give china the edge.
