Dear oh dear, that one was really expensive. Okay, it's fence 3 so we always have to factor in SkintofGreatYarmouth taking a tumble. But four fallers on two heftily-priced nags, one of them a drifter. OMG. Hard luck guys, and pass the smelling salts!

Okay, Mr Knight Commander, sir, I am more than happy, nay ecstatic about today's offering. Nope, that certainly wasn't too much of a drifter. In fact it was a fantastic lay, making you layer of the day. Maybe Honorina reminded him of an old flame called Noreen, but for whatever reason he layed it at a sizzling 2.54. Very nice indeed oh armoured one.

He just beat our heavenly layer angeleyz, who reckoned Poet's Word would be a write-off at 2.56.

There was one other in the 2s, another grand old stager china castle reckoning The Anvil would be hammered at 2.64.

Very well done y'all!

Today's drifter was brought to us by posy, Chiconomic surging to 12.81 before getting lost in the pack. There'd have been nothing chiconomic or economic about that had it won!

Goodness. Our three fallers included seven star layer of layers angeleyz and two-star Aquarius. And since it was the fourth none managed a profit. Hard luck guys.

Layer of the day was general custer, sure Vive Ma Fille was a bit of a girls blouse at 4.4.

Close behind were east end boy, betting Cote D'Azur would be beached at 4.6,

and Knight Commander, who knew Tis Marvellous would prove unremarkable at 4.89.

Pretty much a drifter-less day too!

A couple of big names crash out at the fifth. Hard luck to rob22 and Knight Commander.

Two in the 3s today, with east end boy grabbing layer of the day, knowing Hereawi would be asking whereawi by the end at 3.1.

jules002 wasn't too far behind, reckoning Alejandro would not be too jandy at 3.4.

Just eight left approaching the sixth. Beast of luck to us.
