Well, I wish I could be so jokey about today's efforts, but that sea of red tells it's own very unfunny story. Some big names in the Betfair forum laying world among the eight fallers at fence 3, including two former champs, deadbrain59 and angeleyz. It was a tough day and you gave it your all. To his credit deadbrain still managed to eke a profit out of the proceedings because he always goes for such challenging low lays. So some consolation there. What is also interesting is how when great minds think alike it doesn't always spell success. Two doubles that went AoT talk to that! So hard luck people, but full marks for giving it a go!

And very well done the 21 who made it over. There's still a lot of great laying brains left in the race! Especial plaudits today to horses2010 for his 2.44 despatch of Caponata in our first race of the day, and former champion soursestar, who said goodbye to Salam Alaykum at 2.62. Brave and worthy lays guys! VWD!

The one that stood out for me though was Was, because with a name like that you just have to lay it don't you? And Was became even more Was to produce a triple winner today.

So in the end yesterday's stonking profit turns into today's modest loss. All to play for tomorrow guys. Keep a tight hold on those reins and good luck!
