te arguement betfair v regular bookie is an old chestnut.im my opinion if you want to have a big bet you use cash and go to several shops.betfair has turned in to a parasitic monster designed to maximise profits for its shareholders through its ridiculous premium charge(i predict it will have to go if betfair is to compete,developments in usa will ensure this).it has gone from being the punters friend to being the punters enemy in a few years.
