Save the rest of us searching back Corbie.........indulge us..........what is this bone of contention?
|
|
By:
...POINT NO 1 is.....
As i said corb i cant recall any relevant point you made.If i am wrong and you did make an argument that will shut me up and show bookmakers operate in a fair and reasonable manner, now is the time to make it. |
|
By:
What's a fair a reasonable manner Iyo ?
|
|
By:
Is that you killer argument then corb that bookmakers work in a fair and reasonable manner.
OK then you tell me why bookmakers work in a fair and reasonable manner |
|
By:
God almighty you lot still banging on?
|
|
By:
I asked the question you - don't attempt to try and deflect idiocy. Answer the question
|
|
By:
No corb what i have wasted the last hour of my life on.Is your statement that you have made arguments in this thread that i refuse to answer and if you could only remember them, you would prove i am a warped, bitter, lunatic, crackhead mentalist. If one of your killer arguments was that bookmakers act in a fair and reasonable manner i look forward to your attempt to put me in my place,

WTF is the question Corbie?
Toronto is winning hands down at the moment........you are sounding like Tony Bliar and evading like Laz Luv. ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
Sixteen hours on and still no point from Corbiegoon. Saying many times over that you've made a point does not mean you've made a point. All you've done is make a point about not having a point.
Much like bookmakers' PR - saying the same thing over and over does not make it so. P.S. - truyin too hard to sound clever actually backfires - at no point could more than one drum being banged be considered "a plethora". HTH. |

Hi Toronto hope you enjoy your stay in Thailand, i worked up in Mukdahan for just over a year, as a consultant for the Thai government on the construction of the Peace bridge there. Its a beautiful country with such friendly people, just a pity people have such a blinkered view of it.
|
|
By:
Btw Tolstoy...........he missed the obvious........as in......banging his drum.......singular.

Twenty years ago bookies never closed or restricted accounts, yet they still made large profits without having Fobts or internet betting, reason why 99.99% of punters are losers, they hasn"t changed to this day. Old style bookies would have loved arbers, punters who like to bet every race on the basis that a horse is shortening, christ they would have been queuing up to take them on, problems is now bookies can win even quicker by promotim=ng casino games and fobts so why even bother with sports betting at all

Good to hear from you Mukdahan.I dont know too much about the eastern border with Laos.I have spent most of the time close to Vientiane and along the Mekong, crossing into Laos across the friendship bridge from Nong Khai. When in Thailand i now spend most of the time in Udon Thani also Krabi or Phuket.Thats right the people are great and it really is annoying that so many people just associate it with prostitution. It really is the land of smiles, although have found Bangkok to be changing for the worst recently.

Im with toronto, Laddies and Boils closed in my case, but only a matter of time with the others bet365 included, they will all close you down for, 1 winning on a regular basis, 2 beating the sp on a regular basis, and probably other criteria such as following TS, or HT etc out of proportion to your general account usage, betting on only horses where it looks like you may have an edge rather than general sports betting or any other reason that looks as if it may cost them.
Its restrictive practise imo and they blatantly only want to take bets from losers as they now have other more lucrative income streams, turf accountants turned into bookmakers now operating more like amusement arcades..... |

If you get a chance Toronto try visiting Chaing Mai its a beautiful area up there, i spent my honeymoon up in that area a few years back and was totally captivated by the tranquillity of the place
|
|
By:
Ps i agree with you enrirely regarding the under hand tactics of bookies closing or restrticting accounts, its a disgrace the way they treat customers, i have given up trying to have a bet with them as you have stated if youm show any understanding of the game you are shown the door.

Have any of you strayed off the beaten path around the Mekong Delta and witnessed the left overs?
Btw Phuket lost any charm it had 20+ years ago once the Brits and Americans landed on the doorstep. |
|
By:
Have not got up to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai but will take you tip and try to get up there soon. You can fly direct to Chiang Mai fro Udon Thani,so i may give the racing a miss and spend a few days there this time.My favourite place are the islands and beaches off Ao nang and Krabi.
The bookmakers only come on to try to misinform punters and anyone else reading who may expose their dishonesty .The last thing they want is the truth out in the open.To be honest i now bore myself with the same old arguments but if we dont stand up to them, their lies will dominate this forum. |
|

To be honest GT along the northern Mekong is not that exciting other than a few bars(beer lao is better than any Thai beer)and few decent restaurants on stilts.Dont know too much about the rest of the Mekong.
Agree about most of Phuket but if you go right to the south of the island around Nai harn it is still relatively unspoilt. |

Havent been for too many years toronto, spent a few months with the UN doing ordnance disposal.Still there after so long, spent 2 out of my last 3 years service doing the same in the Balkans.
"Retired" officially on 29 Jan 2011 but the phone and computer never stop. ![]() ![]() |

Great job GT there are still 200 hundred people seriously injured in Laos every year by bombs left over from the Vietnam war, mainly children. You see a lot of kids with no arms and legs.UNICEF,the Laos government and other agencies like the UN are doing a great job trying to clear them up but there are still hundreds of thousands still unexploded.Kids get blown up digging for crickets to eat.
anyway off to bed now, bored everyone enough for one day |

Goodnight toronto,a never ending tragedy that will continue for many years still. The Balkans are just a young pup in respect of ordnance but they are now the holiday destination for the wealthy and cheap flight brigade.
Short memories and Iraq and Libya have it to come if they ever open up to cheap holidays.......doubt they will but you never know. Look at the Baltic states after all their grief........dragged down to the level of Darlington for a few £s of British unemployment benefit. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
