I have used it 6 or 7 times now and once you have got the slight differences to the keyboard functions (RDT I don't know about exante) in your head it works well. There have been a lot of updates to the software that make it more user friendly.

By:
Has anything been done about the issue of connectivity? From what I can gather they will face the same issues that Exante face ie as soon as you try to use at a busy meeting such as Cheltenahm Fest, Epsom Derby, Aintree then you lose signal. That is arguably the most important issue compared to say using split screens.

We've been concentrating on improving the software, with the help from whiskyalpha and other users. We've added lots of new features, and have ironed out any issues found along the way.
Connectivity is something we will be looking into more now, as we are at a stage where we feel users will be happy with the functionality of the latest release. |

How is this software going in the UK these days? Did anyone end up using it?
RDT tried to enter the Australian Market about 7 years ago and didn't do very well, would be interesting to hear how this software is going... |
|
By:
Hi, no need for new software.
Simple operation. If you have Office it’s just a polite tap to the bookies behind you, hi sir do you mind if I cooy your board and make the odd price worse to make a bit of commission, like 99 percent of the folk here I’m not a real Bookie. Repeat until ring up to 130%, come racing bla bla |

By:
haha Itsmeswaddle
Bit like that in Aust these days as well. Betfair went down for 4 races last wednesday... every bookie was completely lost without it. |
|
By:
There’s no easy solution.
But boils my pish when any bookmaker asks like the deserve to cop a fortune. If you stand a few favourites at 0-5% less than BF and they get turned over fair play to you. If you take 100 bets and trade them in for commission and make 165 quid on the day then you’ve conducted a minimum wage job. |

Shalimah. I know ;-). I put W/Odds out of business long ago... but like ALL on-course software providers, we are going through the motions these days..
|
|
By:
Harry is the boss of w/odds still alive, Graham I think. If so give him my regards, I was jointly his first uk customer 1998 leger meeting.
|
|
By:
Grahame is still alive. Not in the bookmaking game anymore, been retired for 15+ years. Living the life of a grey nomad in Tasmania mostly I believe. I see one of his sons occassionally at the races. Graham was a good guy.
|

By:
Thanks Harry, Grahame was very likeable fellow. one of his sons came over with him and stayed a while after Grahame went back, when he did finally go home he took a local young lady with him. Last I heard of Grahame he was involved in a large leisure development including a marina.
