Here's a thought, on course chappies (good eggs) Why don't you all write to the GC and tell them what happened last Saturday brings you all into disrepute ? (not by myself may i add)

yes well you dont worry about the chinaman Grim - just concentrate on your batting lad - eh up wrist action - i think Celtic son knows more about action from the wrist -i'll ask him?

Grimster, betfair have erased the racist remark made by cricketer and have left the thread thankfully intact. Good luck with your punting today.

the irish lad might be to blame Grim - but yesterdays results have a great deal to do with it- never mind lad - when you come in for lunch undefeated on 299 not out - go to Exeter and get on those 2 little gems instead - and if the lazer gun kid gets a lift down from Taunton - you and i will be having to get the wheelbarrow out.
Celtic Son - didnt come back yet re the wrist action - i imagine hes busy changing his grip

Sorry grim you just had a short run deducted - the cricketer should know better - naughty lad - Hes very much in the celtic mould - trying to slip a quicky in

Guiness - we have sent well written "pleads" from the Bookmaker Associations to the GC to ask them to reverse their decision on allowing these non-standard place terms. We fully explained the implications, even using their own slogans ("Free and Fair") etc. They are not even remotely interested I'm afraid.

Asking them to intervene because some bookmakers offer uncompetitive odds I dont even agree with, let alone the GC.

And excuse my own little bit of cynicism...

A letter coming from me.Be good if a few others do also.

Complained to ASA about the 365 ad.The decision as expected was that the ad would not be stopped but that now 365 will offer these free bets and concessions to all punters. What ofcourse they will do is offer the concession but to a max of £1-50p.Still its worth complaining if enough did it things might change.

Just fed the duck, as recommended by Barry.
I know it's wrong to keep just one, but his mate got carried off by the fox and he does get on very well with the chickens. I guess it's company for him.
I can't see why Barry should argue against the premise / fact, that the off-course corporations have manipulated the on-course market for thirty years, and this GN is just another example of that.
btw. is there anybody left that thinks contacting the GC for help is anything but a complete waste of time and effort.

Do you bookies not think Oppenheimer bring your good name into disrepute by taking advantage of less informed punters with shockingly bad odds out of eyesight of his competitors then?

eg. Offshore Account 9/2 - 8/1 in the ring and every other runner at at least 1/3 odds less than the ring?

The Grimster thats paying out more than 7K but not necessarily losing more than 7K.
If your laying 4K @ 11/2 youd want a fair chunk in the field book or chap @ side of yer /machine going 13/2
By:
The Grimster
When: 13 Apr 10 17:16
geoff. correct.

But our friend barry here claimed that no one had won more than 7k off him?

Anyway that was a long time ago, who cares anyway!!

Im in the brown stuff today but buregurra, is going to repair todays damage in the 6 55 bless it.

Fair play to the Racing Football outlook for leading ( half page ) with this on their letters page ...

"NATIONAL SP`S HIT PART TIME PUNTERS HARD" ... not going to type it all but you know the gist

The RFO response to the letter :

"The 155 % overround was an own goal for racing on the sports biggest day of the year .

Many of those yet to be converted are convinced you can`t win on the horses and saturdays
events will have done nothing to change their minds ."

Refreshing considering they rely on industry advertising so heavily ...

bravo RFO !
