laying for long term profit imo you need 4 bullets to go to war with;
confidence in your ability ability to find FALSE priced horses 3 or more with PROVEN ability against your lay being SELECTIVE- steer clear of novices,sellers and 2yr olds obviously staking and pricing has to be right but if you rigidly follow the above you have a fighting chance whether you only find one lay a week or 5 a day. |

Think the sign things that are put up so a jockey knows not to jump a hurdle/fence are putting off the horses. They were lent up against the side of the hurdle.

To each his own, my selection methods have worked in the past, and today, pretty evidently they haven't. That's life. A few poor selection, (Hindsight is a wonderful thing) and was unkucky with a couple (In three days, I've had losers come in where a leader has fallen at the last when clear). That is racing, hopefully these things even themselves out over time. Just going to ride this out at the moment and conme out the other end
