Fasilyanne for a win and also back to lay material.
Dispol Grand / Spirit Of Coniston for the fc combos. |
By:
i liked spirit of consiton when i looked last night but not at this price
fashion icon for me at the prices and with brennans claim 2 runs here have been ok |
By:
fork me x 2
do they restrict a/c's for winning f/c's? Of all the times I have gone for f/c doubles and never been near, I didn't have a go today. |

Cracking tipstering Muqbil. Corking.
My day can only worsen here if Fwank holds this 'oss 20l off pace... |

By:
some great winners & forecastery on here today by the looks! well done all. muq is probably packing for a round the world cruise as we speak
By:
It's been a bizare day for me after a poor / v moderate winter tbh, alay.
By:
glad the flat season has kicked off well for you then muq.
i have backed curacao e/w later at 10/1. looks a hot race, but been following him for a while and sure he is well handicapped. given too much to do at sandown, presumably didn't handle the fibresand at southwell, then traded low before appearing not to stay last time. he has a good piece of course form when 2nd to tripitaka off level weights too. this could be one of those i follow off the end of a cliff jobs! but can't resist at 10's tonight |
By:
Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but Mini Max may have races in her off a lowly mark and at 50 here, I have had to begin the direct debit sequence.

Nevison backing Woods .. what's everyone else backing ??
I hope Westwood goes well and want to back him but still have thoughs images in my head from his effort last year where his missed many 2 foot putts and stuck away the tough ones. Just cant afford to do that. I seem to recall backing that smug tw-at Casey last year too, is he worth going in on again or is he still just a smug tw-at ?? Off for dinner .. B-) |
By:
I think Casey is worth backing. Not counting the puzzle of Woods, Casey and Goosen are my top 2 picks.
Amongst those who I think have no chance are Els, Garcia, Johnson, Kaymer, Ogilvy, Stenson, Westwood. But my golf betting this year has left a lot to be desired. |
By:
els & casey my best results sint, plus lots of beans at bigger prices
By:
Mickleson hasn't holed a putt in the last few weeks. If that changes next week, he is hitting it well enough to win for me.
I don't want to wish negative thoughts upon anyone that has backed Casey, but, to paraphrase Kevin Keegan, I would love it if he managed to blow it on the Sunday! |
By:
I will have hit the pink button if he is short prior to the final day, though not as hard as I would if it was Westwood!
By:
thanks.
Apparently there are 10 English players in the tournament this year which is a record. Poulter thinks Casey is our best hope and that Westwood always puts himself in a position to win, so them 2 will do for me. KJ Choi is my other pick, I hope being paired with Woods and having to put up with all the hoo-ha will inspire him to victory. |

Big Bucks is attempting to win his eight race in a row .. incredible imo.
By:
Im trying a few quid eachway on Nikola in the red rum chase tomorrow. He ran well on his next run after a break before just recently, when he finished behind French Opera. If he replicates that I could see this tripless beast running on into a place. Some of these look poorly handicapped imo and he has a feather weight. 20/1.
By:
I have backed Kim, Choi, Cabrera, Perry and Jimenez in the golf if anyones interested.
By:
Moore, Kuchar and Flesch thus far.

Morning all.
see that swinburn/kirby horse is going handicapping for the first time at wolves this evening. was that the one jonjo mentioned on this thread after his last race? stepping up in trip today. |
By:
Hi SG. I think that was the one that jonjo put up lto as a knocker ew but the market suggested otherwise. Defo one for a h'cap over more of a trip.

What an absolutely gorgeous day here in Yorkshire, best of the year so far.
A few who have proven to handle the ground that might be of interest this afternoon at Leicester. A shame the card has dropped to bits, providing a good excuse to watch some jumpers in action, so all Aintwee tips gratefully accepted :) |
By:
I'll be laying sanctuaire, looked visually impressive at Cheltenham but didn't beat much imo and just outstayed them on an undulating track.
By:
I am liking the chances of Nick Williams's entrant there, infoman. A solid EW poke imo.
By:
Yes, improving sort and one of a few that you'd have on your side against the fav from a stable slightly gone off the boil perhaps !
By:
Form looks solid enough (to my untrained NH eye) and the fact that they thought this was a superstar after its 1st run when they have some very nice toipes speaketh volumes. Done the job well enough since.
By:
I thought Sanctuaire looked nailed on today info. ruby didn't ask him a serious question until after the last and he romped clear. value for 20l and I thought it was a good fred winter. I thought the triumph was average looking and the form of Me voici's haydock win isn't looking too good and I also thought he would need much softer ground.
By:
:(
By:
Yes thought he liked plenty of cut too, certainly the impression your got from trainer after his wins. But it maybe quite soft there today we'll have to see.
By:
Sanctuaire looks a NAP to me too. Notus De La Tour the main danger imo. Can't have the Triumph form as being anything other than very ordinary. I will probably just lay Barizan w/p though as he will need to be the iron horse to recover from Nam.
I don't think he will win, but the gods of value are insistent that I back Hey Big Spender today. The carrot-crunching yokel cost me plenty when he jumped off it at Cheltenham but he was still tanking at the time and his form looks very solid. A heart-breaking second to Somersby awaits. |
By:
I'd rate sanctuaire's cheltenham run a bit better than barizan's triumph run. Looked like he could have won be double the margin if he'd been let go sooner, and the 2nd was probably 6lbs or so in front of his mark...so i'm think 150ish. Barizan had solid horses like gilded age, barwell bridge, carlito brigante well behind, i'd think he's run high 140s. Sanctuaire far likelier to reproduce the form having had such the easier time.
Super kenny's form is very suspect i think, obviously has a big reputation, but i don't think ultimate was at his best at stratford. SK has only run to about 115 on the bare form, ovbiously with a lot in hand, but if he'd had the 35lbs up his sleeve he's going to need to win today, i think he'd have been more impressive. I've laid him. Me Voici should've run in the triumph if he's going to run in this! The ground turned out to be just what he wanted, he might have won. Bocamix and Diktalina hold his form down a bit, but he still must have run to 140+ a couple of times this season. I doubt whether he can be organised enough at his hurdles to beat these though, it's all going to happen a lot quicker than it did at chepstow and haydock. I'd be surprised if anything other than barizan beat sanctuaire. |
By:
Actually wouldn't be that surprised to see me voici beat him either if he put in a good round of hurdling...
By:
Good. We will go with dan's post rather than Stevie's then.
By:
I'd have Me Voice on about 132+ dan, Bocamix the horse that was 3rd in the chepstow race has shown himself to be a similar horse on form to Stormy weather and George Nympton (both well beat in the fred winter) I think Bocamix has run below form at haydock due to hard race in bottomless ground at newcastle. Sergeant Pink and Diktalina for me are only 110-115 kind of horses and both overrated.
I'll go with your 150 for Sanctuair and Barizan 140 maximum but don't think he will reproduce that. |
By:
agree about the super kenny form as well. truly awful with that chapman horse in 4th and the 2nd had been hammered by triumph also ran Barwell bridge. However he's clearly going to be alot better than the bare facts of that but by how much is anyones guess.
By:
Of the outsiders I thought Drussel ran to about 120 last time and could be capable of a 130s sort of run, seems to be improving so could have an outside chance of sneaking a place. will have a little e/w on him as well just in case a couple of the main ones flop for some reason
By:
Sanctuaire 1.01 beat,
I hope you boys got out unscathed :0 |
By:
MV no good. :(
Monte Mayor Won for me in the Leicester sludge. |
By:
was backing mccoy all the way round.
amazing performace from the winner, been improving every run all spring! |
