btw how do we keep track of the in play? Do you subtract from your total when bet placed or track separately?

depends, most peeps subtract there IP stakes straightaway then add it back if they get a return. I only take it off when it runs/loses, just the same as my normal bets

subtract from total so a current P&L, then when bets run add the stake back on if they're winners.
