Third time this season I've had a 20 point plus swing from loss to >10pt profit.  That January run of 28 consecutive losses (-24pts) which had 3 double figure horses coming close 2nds was a real test. I then made it all back in the last 10 bets. Going though my records though has me annoyed at myself. Despite making it clear I'd stick to 5/1 and bigger odds horses this season I've had quite a few that are shorter and as expected it's a significant chunk, my profits would be over double what they are if I could just be disciplined.  |

96.5pts bet this season and +13.1 to show for it.
13.6% Return on Turnover. Poor compared to last seasons 25.7% at the same point which included far more stupid short priced bets than this season. Though I have been considerably busier in Dec/Jan this season than is normal with a 3 week holiday and moving apartment at the same time as starting a new job. Not to mention an outlier in terms of a terrible run last month. Anyone else keep records of their bets for review? Got some stats for the season? |

FFS this is all about beating the bookies and any poster who gives a winner
without aftertiming or going on about abstract P\L is wellcome we need to forget about egos and just have a bit of banter. Roo you put up good posts but so did IS so get over it and remember the bookies ae the enemy. |
