I did wrestle with the dilemma of whether or not to post, thereby revealing my dark secret. But in all honesty I only go on there to enjoy the invective. Give it a go, you'll be hooked in an instant.

Don't watch it so I wouldn't have a clue what people are talking about. Does amaze me how tradable the markets are though, shame they're getting rid of it. You'll have to request an I'm A Celebrity forum :p
|

Don't watch it either, tho the formidable Mrs O is partial,l so I do catch the odd bit. Thing is, in order to revel in the sheer hatred that the forumites have for the contestants and each other, you don't need to. The added whiff of aftertiming, which seems to be a crime barely worthy of comment down there, merely adds to the entertainment.

Sounds like the sordid backwater of the Betfair forum world.

Won a few quid on the London Rose...backed her blind on the basis that going into the second night she was the highest ranked of the Roses that hadn't yet made it onto TV (Kerry Rose aside)...all the girls who shone on the 1st night came in in price, leaving what I hoped was a bit of value on the unexposed ones. Having seen the Kerry rose, have to say I thought she was home and hosed. When I finally did see the London Rose, I had her in my top 2, beautiful and obviously very bright but came across as a bit superior and a bit cold. Don't really think she was all that pleased to win the damn thing; she probably has better things to be getting on with. Can see her trading off the Rose name in her entrepreneurial endeavours. Is it de riguer for the candidates to have shockingly ugly boyfriends? Every last one of them was a right looking gombeen. |

Nothing to do with aftertiming, but this has to be post of the year so far.

holein1 27 Aug 21:32 nothing wrong with backing, to trade Win only - Sp only 27 Aug 22:30 ^ vintage aftertiming after he goes -6 :D holein1 27 Aug 22:48 not really because he did the same last week. not necessarily a winner, but great trading opportunity player. was always going to go low this week after going so close last week. yes i backed him at 36, so happy |

was sh1tting myself near the finish but thankfully Sanvean got up for a place. Now if Transferred were to win ... PHS 31 Aug 17:09 ... not as much as I was having laid the FTO Godo beast in the 3:40 War Mdn. I'd nearly closed my browser down after it had gone 1.03, then an Amanda Perrett debutant came past at the post. am I allowed to post my own ! |

I've had it with Irish racing, its just impossible, why did that fav lose? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Humping 9 stone 12 around in that ground was always going to be a hard task. Wouldn't have minded it giving a stone to the others if it had been carrying 9 stone itself but that weight in those conditions is a real stopper. |
|
By:
:D
know all 31 Aug 01:21 if its that woman she has pulled a few strokes before, i remember them putting the 5f stalls stand side without telling anyone, i was on the track that day and it was soft so i knew the low numbers were miles in front, i got a low drawn 20/1 winner and the forecast up, there was a lot of comment about the tricks the beverley jokers get away with |
