Oh my good gawd, the second semi is just incredible! Both my picks, Susie and Jack in it. If Susie does another of her ping breaks and slips round in front then I'd be hoping she could qualify but who knows what may happen? Certainly a race to savour.

Imagine you're not us and haven't managed to watch last night's semis or get the semis draw. So you eagerly go to the Greyhounds RP site and in the "News" section you see the headline - "Irish Derby semis - live rpgtv Saturday". Desperate to get the semi draw you click on and get this below:- You'd be none the wiser as per the draw. What a bowlucks news medium this site is!

Sponsors Boyles only go 5/2 Explosive Boy, ( not that I've ever used them), you'd have to think he wouldn't be that much shorter should he qualify. Bearing in mind he led and got picked off by Ballymac Ariel fairly comfortably last time. I've got a hunch that Ariel could find it tough on Saturday and may even miss out in that red hot second semi. I could well be totally wrong of course, have been more times than I care to remember |

Very difficult to say. One slip at this stage, and against this fantastic standard of opposition, can be fatal to any dog. We know she has the guts and the speed but does she have the craft to handle any buffeting? I think she has. If she gets out as she did in her last three she should certainly get a run and I think she can do it. I can;t see a reason why she wouldn't reproduce again on Saturday.
