Sure Rab would have taken it with his dog long odds on in a match, imo but both need to agree on a toss if that was going to be the solution PS Daz, don't think it says anywhere in the rule book that two cant qualify in the event of a dead heat for third |

common sense did prevail with the dead heaters both getting through but i dont think it should have happened,whats the point in having rules if they are not followed to the letter. |

Sounds like they did exactly the right thing here, anytime common sense is used to defy a rule written in stone its proof that no matter how hard you try you cant write rules to cover every eventuality in greyhound racing, let alone life !
