there excuse for why the wides are facked at this gaff is that most out in 5 and 6 are now middle runners, well of course they fooking are as all the wides are already gone after the first 2 rounds

nanny. I think the good dr mentioned this before the start and I concurred. Other than Sheffield, the worst place you could hold the thing. (Well those that were interested) but probably anyway. |

In all honesty its a farce but at least we have a Derby, most of us can remember the good old days, sadly they aint coming back, I do have a pop but I am glad we have our biggest race, it honestly could have been a lot worse

if its a run off the loser stands by as reserve under rule 90 apparently so as there is a vacant trap automatically goes through so need for a run off.....not the case in a coin flip...

One thing I have noticed at Nott with the camera looking straight on the traps
Not much room between t6 and the grass Loads of room from trap 1 to inside rails Therefore the trap 6 dog if it runs straight is running on the raised sand on the outside It's not getting flatten by the tractor and must surely be slower ground that the rest of the track that's totally level Might be the reason why most of the trap 6 dogs ain't doing anything to the first bend |

Not sure this is Better than sheffield tbh , I thought with a Couple of races under the Belt Wides etc would improve but does not appear to be the Case

The reason why Notts is better than Sheffield is it isn't always on a turn. The straights are pretty good tbf. It's the bends that fooks everything up. Can't stand any race when the dogs are turning on the winning line. That should be a straight finish. Both these shoite tracks have this.

Graded dogs run far more frequently. Graded is the word. They will find theirs and all being equal any trap can win.

they want to put both dogs through but the difference between now and when it happened at wimbledon is previously there was a vacant trap so run off was cancelled and both went through whereas tonight it was a disqualification.....just heard both through under rule 90...
