finally an interesting trial session at Wimbledon this Wednesday
By:
nice to see one trainer there, but thought he might have several other runners also running? / having a look?
By:
one of them trialled in 18:64 around Shelbourne on Thursday night
Laurels starts Saturday night so he probably will have more than just those trialling going over for it |
By:
ar ok ta. took alittle for the 18.64 dog, seems over that niggle, runs very wide in few races iv watched of him tho.
looking at igb and his current dogs, hoping he might bring close to 10, maybe 12, similar to buckley? so 4 quite disappointing and not the one's i wanted to see either. ![]() just hope blaze does around 28.65 |
By:
3 Ballymac Bocko 5 4.83 MidToWide 37.6 T ReQul 28.50
4 Sidarian Blaze 1 4.87 HitRls1,Rls 35.2 T Intro 28.47 nothing else worth reporting from this mornings trials, not on the flat anyway ![]() |
By:
is that Bocko the wide running stayer ??
By:
do worry about Blaze at boxes over there tbh, he did blow the lids 1 night in a trial stake last year but bar that has been very moderate coming away which he will do well to overcome, sure Graham will give him more trials / races seen as he has bypassed the Laurels with him

big winner for me last yr when eliminated, thought he was fairly unlucky last yr when going out and having won i think 3 irish comps since then and run well night of stars just behind the superstar decided a few wks ago to take some 50's.
Hopefully a few more flashy times and i can lay some low 20's and then see him hopefully go deep. holland seems to be flying at the mo and news he's gonna be based over here much more pleasing to find than him travelling back and forth. |
By:
Is it me or do the Irish usually keep racing and racing their dogs, so bit concerned Bearatipp and Belles Direction off the radar currently. Hope all's well?
By:
Are you on drugs?? You've been betting dogs to win the Derby for years that ran every week in -12 degrees in the North of England all winter and are now claiming the Irish over race their dogs
![]() |
By:
I'm not the only one who thinks the Irish would rather have their dogs racing, than doing nothing on the sidelines. That's all. Any news of Bearatipp and Belles, anyway?
By:
Sounds like youve been brain-washed by Wonders. Not talking about racing December/January, we are well into April now. Springtime. The daffs are blooming and lambs a leaping!

Any news of Bearatipp and Belles, anyway?
Yes I do and of Blake too |
By:
Any chance of coaxing the info out of you?
By:
they're all really fast dogs
By:
Think the world and his wife knew that already. If you could be so kind, PM me. You know my fiver wouldnt shorten prices
Gonna settle down for Aintree soon. Holywell or Conti, Arctic or Jezki? Always like the mini-National the Foxhunters, too |
By:
Is Adageo Bob likely to run? I have "donated" £15 at 500-1. If he is entered, he may be the keep qualifying type, who's durability might see him going a fair way in the comp.
By:
Stow never run last
Year I was on same sort of price |
By:
if he was mine he wouldn't be messing about with the derby, sunderland or anything else this year apart from working backwards from the champion stakes
By:
Of Droopys Nidge, Gleeson reports him in good form. “He’s in great order. I don’t know if Wimbledon will suit him, but if it does he’ll take some beating. I’d love to have him for the Gain 600 at Shelbourne.
“As for Droopys Braedon, hopefully he’ll be okay for Wimbledon, although he has been treated for an injury. It could be touch and go for him.” Sound like don't bother with these two to me !! |
By:
Droopys Nidge and Droopys Braedon are two of the fastest dogs in Ireland and were trained by Robert Gleeson up to Thursday morning when they were collected by owner Willie Hyslop and transferred to Matt Dartnall’s kennels.
that's what I should of posted first if people Didn't know! |
By:
Tracks are not the problem for Droopys Nidge, he is best fresh and has gone backwards in every competition he has ran in so far
By:
6 runs at Wimbo be up he's street than ! Lol
By:
I doubt if Adageo Bob would go Stow. Wallis didn't even think of running him last year, when he could easily have been a live one. Maybe Wallis doesn't feel the track suits.
By:
Never mind the "salaried trainer", what does the owner want to do with his Greyhound? He's in the form of his life and nearing 4YO. May as well bung him in imo.
I do think Mark Wallis is the best trainer in the country btw and he's a nice chap as well. |
By:
Indications are it's going to be a much-weakened Irish team with Laughil Blake and Bearatipp on the slide to 24/1 and 29/1 respectively. Question mark over Droopys Braedon, too. Said had my doubts about some of the Irish making it
By:
plenty will be trialling and running in trial stakes in the next few weeks
