Lanza - SPK is always officially +30, it's now fixed whether it's 35c baking sun for the last week or whether it's under 6 inches of water.

I thought the next batch of trials, Ballymac Vic & Co was due tmrw Saturday

Jonathan Kay ‏@jkgreyhounds 7m
Kisses For Cloda puts in another exceptional Wimbledon trial - 2819 off a 474 sectional

Jonathan Kay ‏@jkgreyhounds 12m
Tyrur Sugar Ray clocks 2859 in first Wimbledon 480m trial - very slow from traps, railed well.

Whole batch of Derby warm-up races tonight and only got one of my team running, Priceless Sky. Backed him twice antepost, fast, gets 480m and plotsville. Not backing him tonight, just hoping for an impressive display. Must respect Alien Planet but mine got best of the draw and not too sure about Cluxtons Free now.

Looking to back a couple elsewhere though, but waiting for prices

Fancy 3/1 Ballyhill Sub tonight. Should be safe to ignore last run where he never came away. Reckon you will see a different dog leading the pack this time. Money Talks is the hype dog but looks short enough on Hills early prices.

Also fancy 11/4 Shaneboy Spencer to make virtually all. Favourite Fermoy Henry is in fine fettle but lacks a look and Wimbledon isnt Nottingham.

Of the other Derby trial stakes, already mentioned Priceless Sky race and minimum stakes trixie and extra treble Bowtime Regan, Zoos Caprice and Frisby Barney (odds on Lemon Pluto got something to prove imo), just for added interest.

Good luck!

Money Talks has decent early pace, Ballyhill Sub downed tools last week imo when he didn't get it his own way, he needs a big performance

He has to lead if he's to win, in reality he will probably have to lead every night to qualify, however he did lead every round of the Puppy Derby at Harolds Cross and there where some useful early pacers in that including Isabels Boy.

As for being miles behind at the pick up sure it's fkin stupid where it's situated in my opinion

Yeah he kinda came out of nowhere in the big stake at Limerick flying out and showed real good early. Has yet to do it around Shelbourne but seems to have taken to Wimbledon really well and if he keeps breaking he can go far

Bonamassa Rocks paced up really well and fastest trial stakes winner last night. Notable wins for Priceless Sky and Lemon Pluto. Thought Money Talks a shade disappointing and Ballyhill Sub will have to improve out of all recognition to win the Derby

Fattie  - I thought Pluto was brilliant.

Woody, am surprised re Bonamassa Rocks bet, with all the exposure of him on TV this year, he has great back straight pace, but he wont get round the bend before being baulked from round 2 onwards as he's too slow away imo, and lacking in EP. Money Talks first look at track and will come on. The times of racing was different to the much earlier lunch/day time trials...Ballymac Vic's 3rd trial in 2 countries in 8 days, not sure you are comparing like with like, imo

Does anyone know who is trialing on Wednesday? I want to see if Judicial Ruling and Jaytee Hellcat are running.

Also is Mags Gamble not coming to Wimbledon? I don't think he has had a trial unless I have missed it.

Judical was injured after the second round last year and ran with alot of credit with a dodgy shoulder, was a tad unlucky in the final too I taught. He would have went off jolly aswell if the boys didn't pull that stroke on who would go off favourite market.

He is in the right hands to bring him back and will only improve the longer he can stay in it. 100's with 365 seems a fair enough price for a dog of his class although I agree the time off isn't ideal but it's factored into the price.
