Lol I only tend to lay things under 3-1 to that's rules out ante post for me
|
|
By:
good advice. looking at my book, you might think im trying to lay 100 dogs at 100/1 + this year.

Yer suppose but boring but fancy eske myself now it's trapping but missed all the fancy prices would play at 8-1 but too short now
|
|
By:
dont think its safe to ask me
...i think woody took my 44's last year on eske very early into the market. i just laid a few 100 yesterday at 7.0's after doing me days cricket and finding out id been filled in on all those new irish ones. ![]() wouldnt back hm now at 7 or 8/1 esp given all these new irish ones and hoping (my book needs a big lay of eske around 5-6.0) eske goes well for a few rounds. |

Ravage Again I wish i'd followed your example re not laying over 3.0, if I had then at 6.0 lay Ronnie O Sullivan would not have ruined my Derby betting

Ravage, Barracuda didnt come away, so can clock faster and will be looking for trouble behind in the Derby. Barracuda still still at the pick up after 280m win Sheffield recently, that must be 465m or so. No surprise to see Loner go well to the pick up at Romford, imo

|
By:
Not still still, meant still clear

looking at results you'd have to wonder how well the rail was going tbh
|
|
By:
Woody it's one thing winning a sprint over 280m against other sprinters and still being clear at the pick up against other sprinters, in the Derby he won't have other sprinters chasing him, he will have dogs who get 480m well so using what happened to the pick up at Sheffield in that sprint is nonsense
|
|
By:
Soz if you backed FB and as hope as wrong but it's got no chance of staying 480 m
Though it will probably get to the q or semis and you can green up, though a lot of FB backers will be looking to green up at some stage |

Dowling saying on RPGTV tonight he's still not sure if Vic will come to Derby, even after that trial today. Jeez, if he doesn't what a fecker
![]() |
|
By:
i think they always said from awhile back that they would have a few trials and then decide. You'd have thought they would now tho.
i feel more stitched up by the owners / trainers that say their not coming and then do a you turn. Quite pleased i shall be retiring before next years derby. |

"McKenna is planning on running three of his top puppies, Farloe Calvin, Farloe Buddy and South Armagh.
Confirming his late change if mind, McKenna said that “Farloe Calvin is not a Derby dog and his next big event would have been the Laurels which is a long way off. So, we thought we might as well run him and the long run up will really suit. I have the three dogs booked for trials next Wednesday”. So re Calvin , the English Derby is not a "Derby" just some sh ite comp, but has big money cheque to the winner?. Much bigger cheque than 'the Derby'? ![]() ![]() |

Where were all these Irish stars on 600 final night?
Would rather have had two of my favourites Ballymac Vic and Kereight King rather than a couple of others i got, but thought they probably wouldnt come over. Seem to remember having them both in the Easter Cup. Cant back them at 16/1 now. Lanza, not guilty of taking your 44/1 Eske, although would have if i'd seen it. Backed Eske a long time ago. Got 33/1 from Hills last May on the strength of a remarkable spin at Sheffield and when Eske got beat by Tango at Hove last June and pushed out to 50/1, went in again. You may call if deferred gratification! ![]() |
|
By:
Talking of Tango, you can get 66/1. What's the news?

Longwood Fantasy
Anyone have info on this dog ? Its 170-1 on here which represents value on its runs against Warhawk, eden star, shaneboy etc etc all of whom are a lot less in the betting, four years old in July its only had 47 races, but the main bookies are not quoting it, anyone know why ? |
|
By:
Am i mistaken or are Mags Gamble and Paradise Martini quite closely matched. If so, why are they 100/1 and 40/1 respectively?
|
|
By:
Tyrur Sugar Ray
is one dog I am laying now and will be laying off even more IF it runs in the derby. I took the 280-1 available on here last month, now its in to 19-1 , can't see it coming over let alone running well, its a bang railer and misses the break too often, one bad break will do for it but underpriced on here and with the bookies. Fifth in the Irish derby final from trap 4 last year, its never left Shelbourne Park and PJ isn't a fan of the track. |
|
By:
The Fahy runner will be Tyrur Sugar Ray which will be given a trial around the track on Friday after coming out of his most unlucky Ladbrokes 600 final outing last weekend.

THE BALLYMACS SHINE IN ENGLISH DERBY TRIALS
16/05/2013 It was a good dog for the Ballymac dogs in the trial session at Wimbledon in preparation for the English Derby. The ante-post favourite Ballymac Eske did a very pleasing 28.39sec spin for the 480 metres which was only a matter of five spots behind the earlier times of 28.34sec posted by both Paradise Martini and Jaytee Hellcat in their spins. Screen Critic, which was a finalist in the Red Mills Unraced at Clonmel in February, impressed with a 28.36 spin. But Liam Dowling’s Ballymac Vic caused a fair stir as he made his first appearance at Wimbledon and he stopped the sprint clock in 16.04sec. He took a middle route and was easily the fastest over the sprint distance during the session. Vic will have another trial around the track on Saturday. Wimbledon RM Gary Matthews was most impressed and said: "He ran the bends as if they were straights. It was a highly impressive first effort." Liam Dowling was very pleased and said: "I was happy with the way he handled it, just as important is that he has come off in great shape, and the plan now is to give him a four bend spin here before racing on Saturday and, all being well, we'll then make a decision about running him in the Derby. It's one small step at a time, I don't want to get carried away, but it was pleasing, especially as he only travelled over the day before." |

Irish, Fantasy is very reliable hound. 2nd in both of last two Laurels finals, I think he could keep on qualifying.looks big value imo, back now, lay later
Not sure TSR, as ridiculously fast as he is, has enough box reliability for 'Don. |

Droopys Jet 2833 - He's back in the game!!!!
