Dont know about 100/1 Nineteen Points, but 70/1, all on Betfair, reasonable, Kingo, Tyrur Justin and Coolkereen Imp, glad he's at Dublin, giving me a surprise extra shot at the pot, although thought he used to stay on better than i saw in first round. Still rooting for Vic but would be best financially if 104/1 rank outsider Swift Marathon won it for me

Some big prices about for tomorrow nights heats.
Heat 1 - Rockburst Saint @ 8/1 (I thought he ran well enough last week showing good pace 2 to 3 before being baulked on the 3rd. Captain Scolari on the other hand i thought ran like a drain and looks a horrific price. Lolos Joe was knocked over so no idea how he will bounce back. Domingo god only knows where he will go to the bend but as always those drawn outside him may get bother. I wouldn't be surprised if Rockburst Saint could lead up the inside and they would have a job of picking him up if doing so if he shows the same pace 2 to 3.) Heat 2 - Dragon Shield @ 7/4 (Got a brilliant draw, Lexie in 2 moves off, Clydal Spirit in 3 doesn't have his early to the corner. Both Allen Master and Sugar Ray [can he cheat the draw again?] in 4 and 5 both want rails. Lisnakill Ross has a great draw too but i'm not sure he's good enough to beat Dragon Shield if both get clears. Dragon Shield surely leads along the rails and the only way he then possibly loses in my opinion is if Sugar Ray can turn 2nd again.) Heat 3 - Razldazl Apollo @ 9/2 (Also think Tibetan Skies is fair at 6/4. Not that much early in the race and i could see Apollo leading around here. He should be leading up Tibetan on the inside and if he can turn in front of Krelco too i think he wins as they will have a job to back run him as he's capable of 29.60 runs. Crossfield Star has a nice draw but took forever to see off Swift Marathon when turning handy last week and looks better over further. Ruthless Man could have a chance if breaking well but he'd have to lead.) Heat 4 - Ballymac Vic @ 11/8 (He will lead all won't he? Frankie in 1 isn't the quickest up and although Hot Pursuit in 3 breaks well he doesn't have the gears of Vic to the corner. Vic breaks level he leads and he is not getting picked up. Droopys Cain lacks pace to the corner and will have Wozniacki taking his ground early as she looks rails. Surely Ballymac Vic is an odds on chance?) Heat 5 - Droopys Jet @ 6/4 (Overreaction over getting drawn away from 1? He has a good draw here in my opinion, the top has no early, the 2 has limited early and the same with Puma in 3. Jet comes away leads up and surely can't be picked up clocking the times he is. It sounds so simple but unless he makes a ballacks of the start i can't see any other result.) Heat 7 - Melodys Lucky @ 9/2 (Huge price surely, he was desperate unlucky in round 1 i thought. If coming away as he did in round 1 he should lead up Olympic Rockstar on his inside. Monica in 3 stays middle and although she can pop out she doesn't have that much pace to the corner and i think Lucky can lead her and he shouldn't be picked up if doing so. Diva in 4 is hit or miss at boxes so will need to be good here to avoid Monica, i think she is our biggest danger but she is desperate short.) Heat 8 - Razldazl Bugatti @ 6/1 + Tyrur Mcguigan @ 3/1 (I think McGuigan is the best drawn dog in the race, Rankin in 3 looks rails and McGuigan should have the whole middle of the track to himself and with the prospect of crowding inside could go clear again this week. Bugatti looks too big, if he comes away he can lead the inside and if doing so he is a major player.) gonna be out all morning tomorrow so have to take what's available early. |

Oddschecker not showing prices.
Did you go through each site? That price on Melodys is far too big as Monica should clear the path and give it a clear. Hillcroft Lexie rarely breaks like she did last week and still will not have the early to contain Dragon. He looks assured of a solo provided he does not fall out. I must quickly find 11/8 about Vic as I thought he would definitely be odds on. |

PF, you do your card well and obviously put a fair bit of time into the card. I realise you like putting up your selections up here and may not be in a position to do that tomorrow, but surely you realise you’re only marking their cards, and the cards for the books who have not yet priced up.
You and I know most of them are clueless and need all the help they can get pricing up, why help them? If you think they take no notice of your selections, ill have a small wager with you that powers are shorter about every one of your selections when they price up tomorrow. (That’s not giving them credit or anything just hoping you realise what kind of help you are giving them) No problem with anybody putting tips up here if that’s what you’re into, but at least wait till the market is formed. |
|
By:
I usually do wait until they're all up 4 In A Row but put them up early this week seen as i won't be around tomorrow {majority of the day anyway}, take your point about marking their card.
frank, it's alright if he did, i watch the vids without sound anyway |

Priced the heats up before looking at sponsors prices so here goes...
Heat 1: Rockburst Saint (8/1) - Like you PF, I think this lad is way overpriced and I actually made him a 4/1 chance at best. Has the form in the book and while he mightn't do a sub 29.70sec run, it's not a great heat to start off round two. Draw really suits given his style of running. Heat 3: Ruthless Man (6/1) - Again made him a 4/1 chance at best and given that there's no early pace in the race whatsoever, he could be a good way clear down the back. Mighn't be the dog he was during his pup days but he could be someway clear here and hard to catch. Heat 9: Laughil Billy (5/2) - In a good heat to start Saturday's action, I made this lad around a 2/1 chance. His two runs around SPK have shown he's improving all the time and again with him likely to lead early on, from a much better draw than last week, I think he could take some beating. While I've backed Captain America outright, I was disappointed with him last week and think he may be a little bit overhyped. Heat 11: Rios Girl (14/1) - While it's hard to fancy her winning this, I think she's perhaps overpriced given what she's capable of. I made her a 7/1 chance and if she showed the early she's capable of (she ran in the Bar One so she clearly has early gears), then she could run a blinder. Again, she may not win but she could give some of these a fright. Heat 13: Drumurrer Vixen (16/1) - I can't believe this fella is such a big price as I made him a 7/1 chance. Completely missed the kick last week and while he's in a tough heat with Cuil Cougar and Camas, he'll be finishing the best of everything. Drawn much better here and won't miss it like he did in the first round. Heat 14: Barefoot Duke (8/1) - Take out Sparta Maestro and Barefoot Duke would be favourite here in my opinion. There's no doubt we haven't seen the best of this fella yet and as he showed behind Camas two runs back, he's capable of a big run when he hits the lids. He probably won't beat an on-song Sparta but he's definitely the one to follow him home. Heat 15: Mays Milan (7/1) - There were two who I thought were over priced here. Mays Milan and Barefoot Allstar, who I had a 6/4 chance. And the reason why both are so big is because of Razldazl Rioga, who I don't think is a SPK dog and won't be suited by trap 3 either. That means there's plenty of value to be had and given that he's nearly twice the price I had him, Mays Milan, on the back of his stylish first round win, gets the value call. The rest are pretty much as I had them and undoubtedly the heat of the round is Thursday's heat 8, where I think there's a massive danger of Confident Rankin going out. If McGuigan was 4/1 or better, he'd be worth a bet as he looked back to his old self last week and will surely improve. It will be fascinating to see what leads in that heat. Can't wait and hopefully we'll all make a few quid when the other bookies go even bigger with their prices on our fancies ![]() |

Do any of the irish bookies give treble the odds on lucky 15 for irish greyhounds..might be a bit of value if they do on A MIX OF COM and P.F TIPS.
|
|
By:
SRY the treble the odds refers to one winner only
|
|
By:
You have to go in to the "Future Greyhounds" section on Spoils, and all the heats are priced
