Sawpit Sensation looked awesome last night, i do wonder if he looked more impressive as perhaps Diva and Captain where doing each other no favours down the back so it may have looked even better but i've took some of the 50s.
Tyrur Big Mike was awesome, did what he does best, smash out (3.33sec) and unleash brilliant early. The 2nd ran well behind him but the result was never in any doubt, can he do that 5 more times though? Sugar Ray i can't believe cheated that draw, Cuil Cougar didn't come away either but sure even if he had Sugar Ray was always going to beat him turning 2nd. Now please give Sugar some good bloody draws!! Cabra Millie was very impressive too, it doesn't seem to matter where she gets drawn. Bugatti was absolutely blessed to qualify in that heat. Confident Rankin did everything right as usual, don't think he came away that well but was still easily good enough to lead and held Willyjoe easy. Tynwald Bolt just doesn't do it for me, just doesn't trap and will be gone soon enough if he continues to miss it. |

Busy night again at shelbourne fancy a many but only punting two
thought this dog come on a bandle last few weeks from the front and from behind FOREST RALPH 5/1 coolykereen imp been sprinting but if they thought had chance at Dundalk they would never pull it even if this is a derby! 11/8 far to short and if he misses it RALPH be gone Mcguigan **** nose what he going do if big mike found a new leg why can't he! worrys me! no prices of the the other one yet sit hold tight for a hour but it's a long poke anyway! |
By:
Forest Ralph possibly the worst drawn dog of the night though, Imp goes straight middle

In saying that i made him a 5/1 shot so i wouldn't lay ya it

Swords messi 10/1
think it lead need a little help from behind Luke is the better dog but far to short! sometimes showing a dog a diffent track makes them ping so with imp I'm hopeing he don't ! |

By:
I be happy if you're right with Swords Messi, hopefully he goes and wins the Derby
![]() Heat 15 - Sparta Maestro @ 6/4 (Nowhere near the early in this race as what he's been racing against recently and he should be able turn handy, woulnd't be surprised even if he led. I think he should be capable of leading Kingo up and if doing so he can't back run him. Skywalker Puma may have trouble getting a run early as Liveanddangerous [has been running well] and Airforce Harlem have a bit of pace up [both stepping way up in grade] but if doing so would be a danger.) Heat 16 - Kilbarry Rover @ 6/4 (Good draw and looks likely to lead all in my opinion. The 2 and 3 don't have the pace of him to the corner which should see him around in front on the fence. Razldazl Luke is the obvious danger and would be if turning 2nd but he must do to have a chance.) Heat 18 - Melodys Lucky @ 8/1 (Out of a brilliant litter and did a huge trial at Shelbourne last week. I don't really like his draw but at the price i'm prepared to risk him. Lemon Velvet will move rails as does Melodys Lucky but there is hardly loads of early in the race so they may clear those inside them. Tibetan Skies has to be taken on at odds on in my opinion. Stay Thirsty has a good draw but and 6/1 is too big at SJ [if you can take it] but i wasn't impressed with him the way he folded 2 runs back.) Heat 19 - Captain Scolari @ 3/1 (Razldazl George at them prices?? No thanks!! I don't think anybody has been impressed with what he's shown this year and he has not been going to the bend that well. Scolari drawn inside him here should give him a massive chance to turn in front along the fence and if doing so i think they will have a massive struggle to back run him. Ballybough Hawke i don't think can lead up Domingo on his inside and god only knows what Domingo will do on the bend.) Heat 20 - Locnamon Royal @ 11/2 (Exocet looks the most likely winner but i just thought he was a bit short. Don't know much about Locnamon Royal or Derry form but i think that 28.90 over 525y is a right good run and he then trialled well at Shelbourne so i'm willing to have a go. Drawn in 2 Wozniacki in 1 isn't blessed with pace up and he looked to have enough to hold Hot Pursuit run up. I could be miles off here but have taken big price on here O/R to pennies and will play the 11/2.) Heat 21 - Tyrur McGuigan @ 3/1 (Great draw, Barack in 5 is bang rails so gets a solo to the corner which should see him around in front if coming away. He hasn't been in the best form but he ran well enough behind Ballymac Vic in the Champion Stakes semi final until getting trouble on the 3rd. I see him leading up more than likely from Coolykereen Imp who moves middle so 2,3 and 4 may have problems getting a run. If McGuigan does lead from Imp i think he will have enough to hold on and PJs dogs are hitting form.) |

some very powerfull runs last night
First heat was a cracker of a race ! Tyrur dogs running very well! but the best was saved for last Vic took a wrack trap wise but showed tons of pace Opened up coming though the last bend never looked like slowing The only way vic do t won this if he's boxed up!! imp on one side razldazl dog the other like pf post yesterday to myself! see what jet made of in t4 Heat 8 hot |
By:
not had much luck heat wise yet but ain't played big
got my eye on one plot job wait till next week! |
By:
Heat 8 should be interesting to the 1st bend
I expect lots of improvement from some dogs... vic great run /nice to see ty mcg looking good again/ tx for putting up the draw PF. |
By:
did you see the draw on talking dogs,an absolute disgrace pure laziness

Anybody else thinks Melodys Lucky is too big @ 150s? I have to say i was pretty impressed with how he ran. He wants to be drawn nearer the rails but he showed alright pace up but was crowded on the bend. Then he switched rails instead of staying on the outside of Lemon Velvet down the back which cost him the race in my opinion. The time wasn't bad and he lost a fair bit in running. He can clearly go quicker and there could be a huge run in him.
By:
couldnt agree more, needs rails and got squeezed everywhere
By:
I have to agree with you about Melodys Lucky P.F. i had a good look at the race and he could easly won with a bit of luck..he also has a nice draw;/ heat 7 ]and should make the last 48... ihad a score at 150/1 e/w with Boyles ..YOU NEVER KNOW
TY FOR THE INFO |

lads, heading over for the final as usual.could you lads give me 3 or 4 dogs around about 100/150/1 for a daft fiver on each.i know it sounds daft but believe me,me and my mates arent big gamblers but it would be great to have some dogs to follow through the comp and maybe even get one into the final.much apprieciated if you can do. if not i will meet you in the ha,penny bridge and we can discuss the world with a guiness!
By:
Melodys Lucky @ 150/1 (reasons below)
Razldazl Luke @ 100/1 (Still hasn't won a race but has plenty of pace and could still come good, most of the kennels dogs ran cack in round 1 so i wouldn't be surprised if there was a problem although i thought he ran better than the result suggests) |
By:
forget about 100/1 and 150/1 shots your throwing away 20 pound.away and have 20 pound on ballymac vic at 7/1 pp and youll have a dog in the final to cheer on,and have an interest.
By:
P.F where did you see luke at 100/1 ? ..also Melodys Lucky is still at 150/1 with boyles only 66/1 with PP.. well worth an e/w bet.
