this lot would've lost the Solheim Cup..our girls should've played this week..would've put up a better performance
the points system to gain automatic selection is flawed..too much dead wood i'd have the captain have 12 picks with some sort of committee to disallow any egregious favouritism this was a very poor team |

Never have a group of Americans been so over hyped.. get a grip ffs.. some of them are like 4 handicappers with swings to match. Scheffler, Berger, Spieth… Bryson, Finau, it’s embarrassing that Europe have lost to such poor players..

Got to think Furyk will get the gig at some point.

Fitz deserves a kicking in the team room for handing them the points record on 18.

Don´t need hate on Fitzpatrick. We need him at his best, when the team fights off relegation against the South Korean Girls. This how this works, right?

Sky looking pathetic trying to push blame onto anyone and everyone but especially Harrington. Its a sport, there are winners and losers get over it. Harrington could not have changed the result fact, no matter what we all think the US were better in every department, every one of there players were in form plus had a massive fan backing.

They may well have won majors.. but that doesn’t mean what it used to with the select fields and entry requirements. Berger wouldn’t get in some county teams, Bryson will have his enforced sabbatical soon enough. Spieth… Is just an amusing golfer to watch, like watching an episode of dads army. As for Scottie, will be the only time he makes the team. What is depressing is just how bad the European team was after the qualification period..

19-9 and that was flattering Europe

I think the first time we saw some passion from the Europeans was like the 4th session. This team felt pretty dead inside from the start to be honest like they were just there for the inevitable beatdown.

By:
that was the worst coverage of a tournament I have ever seen from sky

You don't need to look back too far to see equally skilled and talented U.S. squads who never ever looked like doing this. It just shows you how some can be team players and some can't. This is a fabulous victory and it should not go unremarked because the opponents looked poor or "didn't deliver". 19-9 is a humiliation! I'm quite glad actually. Europe and Ireland have gotten far too far up their own rsses recently. As for McIlroy "weeping"? What a load of manure.

Th captain is important imo , but if u have a shower of shi t like that simpleton Casey and that go000fy 12 year old Mugpatrick in your outfit there is only so much a mug like paddy can do
Picking Lowry and Poulter was a Paddy mistake |

when Wee Mac was being interviewed by her that changes her name every week
I honestly thought that while he was on course some family bereavement had occurred that he'd only been apprised of and thought ..Henni ur a bit out of order pushing this..and then it was sweet FA |

Bob, After Rahm and Sergio, Lowry was the only one who showed a pair of b alls.

europe has outperformed itself in the last 30 years & beyond ... probably a good thing for the competition that the usa have won although it would have been better if it was a lot closer. the US look likely to have a strong lineup for quite a while so we need europe to change things which i don't think we have for a long time & lets hope some young uns come along with the mental strength and the game to develop quickly into seasoned pros who can win on the european tour and the uspga ... its (*the RC) still a team competition & the strength for us has always been that team spirit to overcome on paper better quality individuals of the US ... i personally think we lacked that team ethos this time which doesn't distract from the fact we were outplayed comprehensively

Aye your probably right, Poulter was awful the first 2 days. Lowry seemed to genuinely care as well we will give him a break. Still find it hard that Rosey was left out with his experience and was in some form after playing very well at Wentworth.
I think they lacked experience the team tbh, i know Westwood and polter have lots in the Ryder just past it imo to inspire or produce consistently. And we know Mcmug aint a leader of men. Rose got a bit about him tbf. Players like chokeburger fitz casey just aint got the minerals for away turf. I wasn't sure Serge should have got a pick but he proved me wrong did v well. Post match presser worth a quick look, all sat on sto00ls like naughty scholboys. There seems some banter regarding Tommy. Can imagime he is the type to put hos c0ck between his legs and walk around pretenting to be a bird in the locker rooms. Whatever he did the whole team showed more enthusiasm for that than they did on course. |

The only reason Europe doesn't get beaten more often is the usual infighting in the Yank side.
No friction this time and the battering was duly administered. The European side were embarrassing and when the'old brigade' retire from Ryder Cup, we don't have any replacements. The course in Rome will suit the Yanks and if they band together again, Europe will get walloped again. |
