Denny McCarthy positive. Know it shouldn't matter who but don't think they call anything off for Denny. They can't take many more though before it starts looking really bad to keep playing.

Yeah, they're walking a tightrope - I still am amazed that the players as a group could not fly together, stay in same hotel etc - I mean it's looking like those individuals that are doing stuff more independently are putting the tour in danger of a lockdown. As the Americans like to say - it seems a no brainier - no play no money, but still some insist on doing it differently.

They are just about dodging bullets because there hasn't been a big name or a contender test positive mid-tournament. If it was Rory or even Hughes there would be questions not just about health and safety but the integrity of the tournament as the whole thing would become a bit of a farce.
For selfish reasons I desperately want this to keep going but it feels like beyond this week they might be better to shut down for a few weeks to prevent any more spread and come back with a stricter set of non-optional rules somewhere around the WGC at the end of next month. |

Yep, for me it has to be follow XYZ or don't bother coming to the tourny. Aren't they having 2 at the same course soon? might be a way of tightening it there

Yeah, they are playing Detroit next week then Muirfield Village twice in a row. Honestly think now they should sack off Detroit since it's a bit rubbish and the first Muirfield event since it's a makeshift event anyway- two weeks off could enough to stop any more spread without it really damaging the schedule. Mthe rules onahan did hint more towards punishment for players who break so I think they are getting serious, but a break might still be needed.

Ah yeah, that was Lashley's week wasn't it. Strange situation where you have Bud WD but Wallace looks like playing on. Maybe Bud felt like he had closer contact or maybe just a more cautious guy.

I'm going to state publicly, Bryson is not as intelligent as they make out....
In fact I'll go as far as to say hes bordering on dumb. Spunked about four shots in 30 mins. And it's the third tourney on the trot has done so. Dire dire stuff in perfect conditions. World number 1 bot much better. Philip showing both of them golf not just muscle. And he is guilty most times of trying to keep up. Helping him I feel knowing cant compete so playing the course. Rory and Bryson traded around 4?... Hilarious... Massively massively overrated. |

Yeah, Jay seems to be doing the best with a tough situation, they probably put too much faith in the players initially but seems to be tightening things up now. The big problem is how things are going in the US as a whole, all sports are going to struggle to keep going if the cases keep rising.
