No thoughts on Philip there boys?17
|
By:
Rory far enough up just needs contact..be fine I think.
|
By:
Stance looked horrid, done well enough.
|
By:
Good old Phil
|
By:
Phil gonna get in at -13
|
By:
Superb
|
By:
One of the better rounds seen Phil have in a long time.
All things considered. |
By:
Only 7 players have ever won north of age 50. If not this week you wouldn't put it past Phil being the 8th at some point. He would annihilate the champions tour.
|
By:
Different class to dine of these turkeys who have won recently.
|
By:
Vintage Phil, right down to the rule-bending.
|
By:
The 18th is unrecognisable without the grandstands and fans.
|
By:
What A Round....
|
By:
Far superior to the 62s considering tv,playing partners etc...
|
By:
Decent from Rory there too.
That the bad one for this week or that be Sunday. AGAIN ![]() |
By:
What's a winning purse on Champions tour.?
Wouldnt cover one bet for Phil I would think.... Million dollars an NBA game, bo more no less. ![]() ![]() |
By:
I don't think PGA tour prizemoney has excited Phil for a long time either though really.
|
By:
Hence the sunglasses...
|
By:
A few sneaking in to this under radar, zero pressure.
Not seen a shot. Todd,Leish etc.... |

I'm gobsmacked at this market, HOW IS ZACH JOHNSON 150?///?
How can kang, stuad,Merritt be as likely to win, how can streelman,an,noh be twice as likely, 70 points! ancer and hovland 130/1! decham, cancer 140/1 !, off level... He's a 12 times PGA winner ffs, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HE HAS HIS SHORT STICK RUNNING HOT there were signs of it last week, any1 who's been betting golf a few years now knows he's a dangerous man when that putters hot... |
By:
Jason Day awaiting a Covid test after waking up feeling ill. Be more unusual if he woke up feeling not ill. Moved to last tee time on his own as a precaution.
|
By:
Until a negative result comes back you have to assume positive, so does he carry his own bag? Seems irresponsible to send a caddie out there with him.
|
By:
It's a conundrum, particularly when they're starting this early in the day. It looks bad if he goes out on the course then his test comes back positive, but if you say anyone who feels unwell has to WD before the test comes back then they just won't request the test and that's more dangerous. Putting him out last on his own is actually a nice workaround.
|
By:
Would you make him carry his bag?
|
By:
Probably not. If you start putting someone at a disadvantage like that I think they are less likely to come forward for testing.
|
By:
Kind of reduces the caddie to cannon fodder though doesn't it. Very difficult situation this, hopefully we can stay on track. Sports in the USA is a massive challenge right now. NBA players testing positive in droves today.
|
By:
World number 1 putting his stamp on things early...
|
By:
The caddies are already part of the player's bubble so they are almost treated as one unit, hence the Koepka / Gmac withdrawals. Yeah, the US is in big trouble, might be the wider spread rather than the player positives that ends up with sport being fully shutdown for a bit.
|
By:
Reports suggesting Day's test came back negative. Classic Jase.
|
By:
Some proper **** players atop this board now...
|
By:
Hard to fathom how much of an irrelevance Day now is.
Looked like could be a huge force only a few years back. Had it all. |
