Bubba should be shorter than Rory and lefty shorter than Tiger imo
By:
Keep quiet, just take the nice generous offer on Bubba, and leave it at that

Agree Bubba decent price imo.

I couldn't back Bubba with free money!
£5 Oosty at 70. |

Really Heinz?
Any reason? Looked in good nick to me,likes this place. Imo. |

Bubba and DJ fair odds if looking to keep it simple. Still contemplating the head of the market, Rory of interest given the place has had a good soaking and has started the season well. Just managed a bit of Keegan at 140 and ole mate Sam Burns at 1000. Not expecting much of Sam but at 1000 I'll play.

Those using the standard interface, can you see the overround figure? Mine has disappeared from all markets. Any help appreciated.

109/96.9 right now for me rhino

Thanks Hank. Must be something for the .com.au site, will get in touch with them.

Going to be more river than Riviera tomorrow, 24 hours of rain before they start and no let up during the day. Imagine a strong possibility of delays or even a full day washout.

long, rain-softened track points to rory.

If the final three-balls go off at 1.35pm local for the 1st & 2nd rounds and sunset is 5.35 they are already struggling for enough daylight to finish the rounds even without delays. Unless the forecast for the next 36 hours is way off or the course drains incredibly well I'm already thinking Monday very much on the cards.
By:
Well, the first group's teed off so more golf than I was expecting today. Doesn't look great for a ful day's play, although the course must be draining OK if it's even playable after rain all day yesterday.
By:
yepi have been holding my breath all day waiting for a red banning above scoreboard saying delay, happy so far
By:
Amazed the first group have gone! Forecast suggested it will be hammering down until 11am, but then pretty Ok afterwards
By:
Even a few hours' play would be a bonus today and might be enough to allow a Sunday finish.
By:
Late tee times look a pretty big advantage today
By:
looking at the forecast it doesn't look like the rest of the week is going to be any easier.
By:
Horn sounded. No real surprise
By:
Bit unfair to have sent these lads out imo
By:
Horn just blew. Doesn't seem any worse than when they started so no idea why.
By:
I bet they wish it was on next week.
By:
can see an outsider winning this. going to be random in the conditions, most good players like it firm and fast.
By:
what's Phillip playing at ?
By:
Ah I see.
By:
Phil is the greatest.
By:
regulation par for phil.
By:
If that's it for the day at least we've had some entertainment.
By:
Seems to stop raining at 11am for a decent period
By:
I was looking at the previous results/winners and saw some names from the past - Charlie Beljan and John Merrick. I thought they'd both be quite old now, but 34 and 36 respectively! Also, it's a well known fact that Tiger doesn't have the win here, but I didn't know he was denied by a loss to Billy Mayfair in a playoff - seems bizarre now lol Such a shame that Weir's game totally went - back to back winner here is pretty great.

By:
if it's a washout today and tomorrow, will they cancel the tournament altogether? seems pointless going on otherwise

sat some respite but sunday also looks bad. can't see them going through to weds when players have to go to mexico.
By:
maybe this is my best hope of avoiding a loss this week

They can still easily play a 54 hole tournament minimum even if they start on Saturday. They've just tweeted that the start this morning will be wiped out, absolutely crazy call to wipe out play when the restart conditions will be no different and there was no real extreme scoring either way.
By:
Wow.I could understand if Phil was still in the bunker for 3.

wow. shocked they can do that. everyone who made a birdie will be fuming. #justiceforkokrak could soon be trending. |
By:
nobody had a really bad start so obviously conditions werent terrible and as mentioned will not be much better when they restart, so they are just wasting more time restarting and putting more pressure on themselves. A 54 hole event could benefit Rory or Casey, they like 54 holes a bit more than 72
By:
It's so strange. Why wipe out 50 minutes of fairly uneventful play? Other than the 3 guys who are over par why would any player want that to happen? Conditions were not too difficult this morning and won't be any different whenever they play.
