a lot of these guys going to be knackered going into next week and some carrying some scars

Surprised not to see Justin on the list, not a great look for a world number 1 to skip a WGC, especially when he happily showed up in Saudi.

Personally thought that was exceptionally poor from Jt.
Basically handed away a huge tourney, gifted it to Jb. 7 putts over 2 holes and lose by a shot. Will never assume he will close. Top players no different to the mugs. Just better paid. Think will knock him back massively because recently looked very confident but off top of my head I think that's 3,4 opportunities hes had recently and **** them all up.... As for Spieth,he needs to take a month off. Gone.... |
|
By:
Did you get out of JT Jedi ?
|
|
By:
JT will be fine. Can't recall him really ever blowing a tourney in this fashion, has been a very good closer. Honda last year won without his best stuff and was top shelf at Firestone. Had some very good finishes last few months but only really consider Phoenix and this as being winnable, the right guy did win though in Phoenix so will consider this just one of those things.
Forum will be all too happy to label him a choker, but with 8 wins in 2 seasons, people be trippin' if that's the analysis. He'll be back and won't take long imo. |
|
By:
Not anywhere near as much as I should have, hoping he would get his **** together, disappointing stuff..
By the time he 4 putts then follows with a 3 putt I'm bollocksed. |
|
By:
That's ok saying that Rhino, but neither he or backers get that one back.
I'll be swerving 100% until he goes and proves he can do it again because last night was as bad from a top player as I can remember, the fact he still should've got a play off shows how bad not just he but everyone else actually was with a sniff of the win. To lose out by a shot after the amount of shots he just tossed away was bordering on the bizarre in my book.4 putt then 3 putt was just ludicrous. After JB gifted him lead back too.... |
|
By:
Very much reminded me of him when he came out on tour in first place.
Not very composed and very rash. |
|
By:
Decent round from Rory also until ultimately he found he was actually involved.
Poor poor par, pushed putt 17. Poorer bogey 18 pushed putt. Another one to worry backers, unless top 10,top 20 backer. Win record now worrying imo. |
|
By:
Ps.
First thing this morning after they stop congratulating him. They should throw the bloody book at JB.His slow play imo was actually a factor in Jt losing his cool and his patience eventually. Gamesmanship at best. Appalling to watch.Mustve been way over 6 hours?. |
|
By:
He's still a young player Jedi. Conditions were not normal and obviously not to his liking. You're over-reacting.

i decided to go to bed rather than watch the last round, seems it was more exciting than it looked like it would be.

think it's called gambling jedi, stop your whining.
even aftertimers like you aren't guaranteed to win all the time ![]() |

Jog back off to where ever you enforced your sabbatical Lewisham.
Another one be welcomed. This thread alone how many are dominating the world? Champ Tiger. Rory? Spieth.Sorry you done your conkers last week mate, your fault not mine. Your interest in after timing is just bizarre, never posted a bet, always going on about others. I posted my original bets at start, then posted my thoughts on finish, had a really big bet Jt at 2.5.Got out for stakes wish had got out more. Rest is history. Please don't preach to me about gambling.Your not remotely qualified as I've seen before many times. Hhh. Hows your boy Spiffy coming along? Lol. |

Just the 16.5 for the Masters now.

I agree with Rhino, I think JT will be fine. Has one of the best attitudes on tour so I don't think he'll sulk. Also enough external factors (messed up schedule, conditions, slow play) that he can find excuses for a poor round and move on. Spieth, on the other hand, things are becoming a real problem. Played 6 events this season and 176th in Fedex rankings. Maybe he's gearing up for the all-time turnaround at Augusta but if he were a rookie he'd be feeling nervous about his card.

where's your sense of humour jedi, only bantering mate. no need to turn nasty.

as for jt, he used to mess up a lot when he first came out on tour, lots of promising positions gone. now one of the most stable players when in a winning position.
but ultimately, no one immune to a choke. |
