Rory has a serious look at the 59 now.
By:
Rory looking ominous receptive greens with them putting plenty of water on could be one of those weeks where he disappears and hides

cashed out Tiger now laid wee mac 3.5
By:
Or 58.
By:
Rory 59 holes still to play and odds are3.5 !! Mad !!
By:
Tiger was 3.5 45 minutes ago!
By:
sorry now 2.98 !!
![]() |
By:
3.5 looks decent now
By:
surely its a lay at 2.98 he got to have a bad round
By:
tiger first round backers fuming
rory looks so much more comfortable on his set up over fairway shots than he did a few weeks ago- you expect every iron shot to go close. 57 watch for him? |
By:
gotta keep laying him..spoilt brat, can't putt, doesn't like it up him..c'mon Tiger & the rest of yeese
![]() |
By:
tee shot on the 17th massive for rors
would expect him to birdie at least two of the last four holes |
By:
Rory can't keep this up for another 50 plus holes
By:
thought you were laying tiger earlier jon?
![]() |
By:
in general you wont go broke laying less than 3 on a thursday afternoon but the caution here would be it is a limited field event only 20 guys are within 6 and rory has shown before he is quite capable of running away when having a hot week.
apart from tiger no one else sub 20 so more tempted to look for value backing others rather than laying rory |
By:
yeah you're right mighty, I recall wells fargo when rory shot 11 under on the sat, playing playstation golf, this reminds me of that, I think he spreadeagled the field this week
actually this kind of sort of answers the question "who's best is the best" when the top players are all playing well, Tiger is definitely at his best this week and still looking up at Rory ![]() |
By:
long time since he's done that tho' M W..all about opinion
By:
another thing 2 guys(albeit top men) going uber low says to me others can also do similar
By:
By:
agree Johny you are looking at 20 under here to win.
Taking a fixed position isnt really my style its more about constantly trying to trade since the original post about laying at 3.5 nearly 30k has been matched sub 3 so anyone who backed at 3.50 has had ample opportunity to turn a profit |
By:
did that with Tiger M W..nicked a bit but then went balls out laying rory..obviously am monitoring things and if he drifts enough to warrant cashing out w/o the angst of 72 holes will do..but don't like or trust him..nowhere near as good as the constant sycophantic eulogising would have one believe
By:
he's still won four majors johnny, been world number one and has lapped fields before
what exactly don't you like about him? ![]() i agree that on this season's form rory looks quite flaky, but he has also threatened big performances all year... like earlier this year at wentworth he looked like vintage mcilroy and he also does here |
By:
should have said earlier this year at wentworth he looked like vintage mcilroy for the first two rounds
last two days he was waank. anyway as I said his set-up and confidence over the ball when he's hitting his irons looks better than it has for a long time. like he's clicked. last few years he was trying to hard I think and hitting the ball too hard |
By:
certain stuff..l r..think he's false..anyhow likes & dislikes don't really come into play(or shouldn't) when punting
he's capable of what you say or HAS been capable i just don't think he's all that atm once again all about opinion..i've been wrong many times but don't shy away from backing my opinion live and die by the sword |
By:
as it goes i've once again cashed out and nicked a bit as M W says plenty of scope for trading when the perception of what may happen skews the odds one way or the other to one's benefit if your reading of the situation in a given time frame proves correct
he may yet win but i still think he's more likely not too there's some streaky players in the field who can go low |
By:
good call johnny
By:
must admit just think out of tiger and rory, tiger a much more likely winner... I'm on both so knowing my luck xander will hack up
![]() |
By:
u know what l r even tho' i wasn't impressed with his choking at our Open he's one of a fair few i'd be wary of
just the type of event smn of his ilk could win and he's no mug |
By:
laid TW again..you know it makes sense,Rodney
![]() |
By:
Woods, McIlroy joint leaders. Legendary leaderboard. Shame I slept throught it all
![]() |
By:
Thoroughly enjoyed watching Tiger put together that score, wonderful to have him back.
A nicer bloke now too, having been a complete **** for 2 decades. Keep it going please. |
By:
Guess Xander fancies a trip to France.
By:
Indeed. Wants to ruin the big show on Sunday as well.
By:
moeen similar to Pandya in last test,20 odd deliveries for next to nothing
By:
its annoying when they put featured groups on sky when i pay the pga for the streams each week! rant over
By:
seemstge on the 13th, rory lays up, na hits green in one???
By:
seems strange
By:
Finau responding to Xander's round. The Phil pick is starting to look dodgier than the Sergio one.
By:
Phil deserves to be there. Has to be a hard luck story somewhere.
