Woodland seems a different player nowadays - someone I would look to take on before now I'd rather have him onside - I need Tway to disappear right now.

Impressive stuff from Woodland right now. I hope he has a good Sunday.

Woodland is playing back 9 really well. He wins I think as Rory's putting has not yet been proven to be back consistently yet ? As an Irishman I want to see him do well as he is the best golfer in the world tee to green. The slower the greens, the better he scores. This seems to be a constant for most golfers from Britain and Ireland.

I should add that we need to watch out for a springer from farther down the leaderboard but stats favour the leader in past versions of this nice tournament. Would not mind to have a holiday home near this course. Dream on Tobe.

Juicy stat - Most wins on the PGA Tour since 2010 coming from behind....Rory 7, also Gary, Watson & Dustin on 7, Zack J 6.

Gary is 0 for 6 leading after 54 holes... Bird for Rory at the par-4 third to pull within two of Woodland. McIlroy leads the field in par-4 scoring average for the week (3.80).

What a player Xander is.  Incredible how little attention he gets.

Had all my eggs gone into Woodward basket. Beaten by a miracle round of golf.

Woodland led by 3, shot -5 & lost...
Schauffele shoots an 11-under final round to tie the tournament course record...incredible 2 eagle 62, after an opening hole bogey.
The lowest final round score to par by the winner on the PGA Tour in 8.5 years, since Stuart Appleby's closing 59 at Greenbrier in 2010.
(The previous lowest final round shot by a winner at The Plantation Course was 64 by Sergio in 2002).

OWGR:
1. Rose
2. Koepka
3. DJ
4. JT
5. Bryson
6. Schauffele
7. Rahm
8. McIlroy
9. Molinari
10. Finau
The 10th time the Wworld #1 position has changed since last May.

RORS has 6 wins on the PGA Tour when trailing by multiple strokes entering the final round. That is the most of any player since the beginning of the 2010 season.
BUT since the beginning of 2016, 6 times Wee McIlroy has been either 1st or 2nd entering the final round and is winless in those events with a final round scoring average of 72.5 (combined final round score to par of +8).

OUR WEE RORS will surely join Tiger and Jack as the only players since World War II, with 15+ PGA Tour wins including 4 Majors, before the age of 30 (30th Birthday is 4th May). (Not to mention his 13 European Wins).

Playing out of the final twosome, 2017 Champ and OWGR #4 Justin Thomas, pre-tourney 5/1 fav, styled a 4-under-par 34-35=69 in the final round of the Sentry ToC to match Patrick Reed and overnight leader, defending champ and playing competitor Xander Schauffele on 14-under 278.....and then won with birdie on the third playing of the par-5 18th in sudden-death.

The 26-y-o bagged his 12th TOUR title in 141 events (137 pro) and improves to 3-1 in playoffs. It's his second win of the season in four starts, joining THE CJ CUP two starts ago (as 54-hole co-leader), and becomes the season's second multiple-winner (Brendon Todd). After opening with 67-73-69, he began solo 2nd, one back. He needed a par on the 72nd hole to win in regulation but bogeyed, and then outlasted Schauffele, eliminated on 1st playoff hole, and dispatched past champion Reed with birdie from 3'5" after an approach from 117 yards away. Overall, it's his eighth win in no-cut events, fourth straight, and fourth come-from-behind victory.
