Kept faith with the same runners as per most of the season but have omitted Rose (putting is verging on shambolic), Schwarzel (Just too inconsistent to post 4 good rounds). Added Kaymer as was playing well before the Opena nd was going well until a costly triple bogey and then fell away. But he is playing well and is clearly confident.

So:

Day
Grace
Koepka
Z Johnson
Kaymer
Oosty

GL all.

I prefer to do matchbets 72 holes, gives you plenty entertainment through the rounds. Most match bets are evs so you just bang on trebles and accums

Not certain Rory will win another major. Too many very good golfers in contention now.

Rory might not win this week but to say he won't win another one ever is a tad silly.

the gods giveth and the gods taketh away Rory by saying he isn't in it to grow the game etc was behaving like a spoilt brat call it karma or whatever but I think he won't win another major time will tell

Win Only Market

It's under the Rules tab at the top of the market.

Rory move from 11.00 to 9.5. That is money maybe coming from the Paddy side of the business and also a few favs being shortened. But maybe not as punters will get the market they need before the opening drives. I have found it difficult to get a book out of this so far as only bets on correct side is Rory. Anything over 15.00 and it has drifted in most cases, still Louis Ooost the most prominent drifter.

Very appreciative of the lumpy on Grace. Saved my book Happy

Phil +4.4K
Fowler +8.8K
Grace +17K
Sneds +1K
Reed +4.5K
Kaymer +7.5K
JB +750

No liability. Pretty happy with that, was in a hole on Tuesday after some bad moves taking 25s on Phil and Willett which resulted in taking a couple of nasty reds.

@therhino.... I am very impressed with your work in making that lovely book. Patience is the secret. I spoilt mine somewhat in trying to use the same bank for golf as that for Goodwood and Galway. Having said that, I did well at those 2 venues so swings and roundabouts. If I get matched now before play on Phil, (super price now), I will be well pleased. Awaiting some insight from that wise young punter, Quincy.

Please like and share Facebook page Aiding Hope Children Sierra Leone. I got into helping the Ebola orphans there a year ago now and try and help the volunteers on the ground. All donations go 100% towards food, shelter, education and health for the young kids. If you have a good week on the golf, please consider sending them a small donation.

I have been paying close attention to the market all week now and something has been noticed. There is 9.5 points between the price of Stenson and Mickleson. Troon form would dictate the spread should be a lot narrower. And Phil is sort of on home soil with course form to boast about on similar tracks. Now the poser. One guy is either over or under priced, thus the chance of a bet or lay on one of them. Any opinion guys ?

Phil is worth a bet IMO tobe.

Phil looks so obvious, great form and a course he knows and has won at but reading some of his quotes I wonder if that gutting defeat might of taken it's toll on him.

I backed him but have laid off so he's a cert now Silly

Looks like we may have joint favs before the noon deadline. Sustained support for Rory. Probably due to his upbeat Sky interview,to some extent.

@Geesy & the rhino... I'm on Phil @ 28 but going to lay some off at lower before off. He will be onside though. Lowry may be a bit of value in his 3 ball. And a euro e.w.on An looks value.

At the start of the week I thought 11 looked a tempting lay.  His long game is always going to see him get good results but the putting and the silly brain fades are stopping him getting the wins.  Anyone who thinks Rory is playing better golf than DJ isn't paying attention.

Just been looking at the PGA website - current conditions are reported as 72F, not a cloud to be seen, 0mph wind and 88% humidity. And that's at 6:25 am - how hot and sticky is it going to be for the afternoon starters!

Early / late do seem like they'll have the best of it, especially as the storm forecast for tomorrow morning suggests they might be playing on Saturday morning.  Partly explains the Rory shift I guess, but it applies to half the field, not just one guy.

That's some book therhino makes mine look average. As usual I've convinced myself the favourites are only there to make the market for the outsider army and can't win Crazy. I've also laid off all the afternoon starters I had (so they're bound to go well) and I'm going with the early/late tee times as the weather does seem to favour them hopefully.

Snedeker 6.5k
Westwood 8.5k
Bradley 11k
Sullivan 21.5k
Lingmerth 26.5k
Na 6k
Baddeley 3.5k
Kjeldsen 16k
Colsaerts 6k
Lovemark 25.5k
Castro 11k
Choi 10k
Hurley III 6k
Curran 11k
Piercy 3.5k

8.6 now. Not sure this is the course for him, had a few cracks at Tillinghast courses in The Barclays and was not in contention. Two of those events were in the 2012 and 2014 playoffs where he was in dominant form.
