agree leroy loads of funny swings over the years have  still been successful, don't really matter how you swing it as long as it ends up  in the right place, the truth is  though for all the odd movements and different swing  shapes you see  most are very similar at impact they just get to that impact position in various ways i guess.

yep very true, amazing how similar they all are at impact after the different routes getting there

Be funny if Spieth gets round in level par

He has been like that for a while, there have been times when he is leading the field and your saying to yourself how is this possible.

wouldn't be  that amazing he's only  1 over with a par 5 o play.the fact is if he continues to average 30 yards shorter off the tee than everyone else and still misses the fairways he aint gonna be close to winning after 4 days, all pros have days when they are a bit off  with there game but scramble  a reasonable score together but they cant do it day safdter day  and win

looks like  at worst even par for speech now, he may even hole for eagle and  shoot a red  number

But he's got 2 Majors by 22 and he's in top 5 in world so he is managing to do it somehow. In the same period Rory Mc with infinitely better ball striking has zero majors.

rory has won majors though, and will undoubtedly win more, not sure  speech will be winning more majors .he was nearly average ball striker when he was a winner but he's hitting the ball worse every week.its testament to his attitude that he manages to remain positive.

What was the reason for Day odds drift out to 14 earlier, before he started playing his round?

I tend to just do tournament match bets, and the odd 3 balls and 2 balls. To often in previous tournaments Ive backed a few golfers at start with them having a very average tournament, so tend not to back any golfers at start, until I seen Day at 13.5 this morning so had a little flutter on him, can't grumble with a decent round from Day.

Looks like the chance of storms has lessened but there will be rain all morning, guess it depends how heavy it is whether there is a stoppage.  If they play through still looks like advantage early / late as they will have dry conditions to play in and receptive greens to play into.

added koepka ew 33s 1/5th  6 places today to my ew fowler 40s, rose 33s  ew 6 places and pierce win only 150s.outlay  of only 150 quid so  fowler or rose placed to secure a profit  or kopek placed to return stakes bar pennies, i like my position.

I can't believe I've just done this but I've backed Dustin Johnson. I don't think there's any way back BUT I've been sucked in by his massive odds.

Anybody got a good site for the Leaderboard? The PGA site is beyond a joke, flashscore is a lot quicker but it makes mistakes

Done a bit of manouvering, Kaymer going backwards not upsetting.

Day now a nice winner and Matsy the big.

Kaymer puts himself in lovely positions the last 2 majors on Thursday and looks like playing himself out of the comp again on the Friday

That little break was fortunate for these boys, looks like the greens are pretty receptive now, should see some birdies.

Kaymer is one player I wouldn't put a penny on, he was @ 10 yesterday shocking price, should never be below 100 unless he has a 8 shot lead with one to play.
