looking at tornie match bets.hunter mahan vrs dufner.mahan 1.65 on here yet he leads by 10 shots.mahan 4/5 on pp for top 4 finish and dfuner is 25/1.so surely mahan wortha punt here or am i missing something?harrington 6 shots ahead of poulter but u can back him at 1.8 here.lastly hoffman 11 shots ahead of harris english and can back him 1.61.all these prices u can get hundreds on...looks like incredible value?looks too good to be true does it not.every chance english,poulter,duf all miss cut and bets paid out 2moro?

it looks good at the moment, but every chance of mahan treading water tomorrow and dufner shooting a low one, as is the case when someone is leading, after tomorrow lead could be down to 4 shots quite conceivably, that being said it does seem a rather large price to me,but long way to go. Matchbets aint my thing tho so no idea what odds are normally on offer in these situations

ya me 2 mate.thats why i havent put on too much.i just figure that pre tornie they wud be both say 5/6,5/6.so for mahan tobe given a 10 shot start 8/13 looks like great value. id make mahan a 1/6 shot.harrington 1/3 and hoffman 1/6. have stuck a few quid on but never do these bets so am wary.interesting to see how they get on anyways

Thanks for posting senyatta, I have never done a match bet in my life but a 10 shot lead, and you got 1.65. That is insane. Win or lose, that is a great bet. I just took 1.57, wouldn't have even checked if not for your post. Can't believe I got 1.57, Dufner got work to do just to make the cut. Crazy prices. Even 1.5 now is nuts.

with these matchbets, could someone tell me what the result is if both players miss the cut. Is that a dead heat?

It would be a dead heat as far as I know, I do not believe their actual scores would be used but to be 100% you would have to check with Betfair. Results wise, a missed cut is a missed cut so it should be a dead heat.

Definitely think the winner will either be Mahan or Simpson Charlie will do what he does best at the weekend and choke and bubba finds it impossible to put two decent rounds together too inconsistent for my liking

Only got Kyle Stanley so I've added Zach at 20's and Villegas at 40's as he keeps showing flashes that he's not that far off again despite the injuries.

no problem lads.was just looking around for a few mins after the nba final.thought it was great value but was wary it was too good to be true lol.it would be nice if dufner could stay 4 over.i think he will need to get back to even par to make the cut.i didnt put a massive amount on because i thought it might be too good to be true.never done these bets on here before so didnt go crazy with the stakes but i still am surprised those odds were available.obviously 3 rounds were left.but as i said all those matchups wud have been 50/50 so say 1.95 before the off.so to be getting 4/6,8/13 etc with big lead seemed like incredible value.

hank there was hundreds available on mahan.i didnt put much on but backed him at 1.67 and about 1.57.ya many other matches only had 1.01.but hoffman,harrington also had hundreds available to back.it appears all the prices were taken in the morning then.mahan down to 1.10,harrington 1.4 and hoffman 1.38.im sorry i didnt put more on mahan but ive been burnt by backing things im not sure on and i rarely even look at these bets.3 rounds left so it could well lose but id happily lose at those odds when he had a 10 shot start
