He will feck it up aber

De Leat is a classy player and will win soon. but for injury he would already have won imo
By:

How the man bounces back up is beyond me as he lets himself down so often. |

Gonna be a cracker tomorrow, bunched leaderboard with a couple of leaders with no winning credentials on tour, set up beautifully. Best tourney this year so far.

By:
No one wants to go to -10.....not that i'm complaining
![]() |
By:
it was just a drop from the hazard
By:
Well, tonight has been excellent.......only manage to watch 20 minutes of my program.......had to pause as too busy on here.....more of this and less of the 'birdie fest' tournament.
By:
I note that if you buy a house in the Palm Beach area in Florida you get preferred lies when necessary. Hope he gets another one or two today. Now is the time to be laying Tiger for the Masters before this round and before next week's competition.
By:
Tobe why would you lay Tiger ahead of Doral next week? He has won there many times, and very possible he has a good one given his performance over the last 12 months at tracks he likes. If so, his price goes down, not up, so I'm not sure how you figure the move to make now would be to lay him. In fact, with Doral next week and Bay Hill not far away, I think you'd be backing him now if anything.

Am i the only one who thinks westwood is a chancer? He dropped the ball on the green on holes 5 and 18 after going in the water on both occasions claiming he had crossed the hazard markings. Normally when a player does this without his ball bouncing on land the tv coverage is studied to determine where the ball crossed and therefore where to drop. This was not done on either of westwoods shots. I would say that he probably did cross on the 18th but on the 5th he was not even close. He was looking at playing his ball on one leg from the hazard in a muddy lie with a wall 5 feet in front of him and then decided he was able to drop it on the green. Why would he have even contemplated a shot from the hazard in the first place?
By:
Yep, I thought Westwood's drop on the fifth was very dubious. Someone phone in and get him disqualified please.
By:
quite clearly you could see him discussing where it crossed wiyh ogilvy on 5 and on 18 the overhead shot clearly showed where it crossed
By:
How the heck would ogilvy know if it crossed. He was 180 yards away. For it to cross it had to be going sideways as it reached the green as the green sits diagonally to the tee. Take a look at it on shot tracker.
By:
Big drift on Fowler. Taken 12.5, hope the wind blows plays to his strengths. Book reads:
Ogilvy +588 Fowler +546 Keegan +853 Rose +11 the field -83 with a couple of other greens that have no real chance. Good luck ppl. |
By:
have Yang, Fowler, Bradley, Glover and Hanson on side now
need the front few to come back |
By:
yes ogilvy was 180 yards away just how far away were you,why would he agree with him if it did'nt happen
By:
Regarding Westwood.........the red post = lateral water hazard.....read rule 26-1.c (ii)...perfectly legal.
I suspect Westwood was clueless on this rule until Ogilvy pointed it out to him. |
By:
Ski-Wiz, are you serious ??
Are you actually saying Westwood don't know the drop rules for a lateral water hazard !! ![]() ![]() |
