Webb Simpson looks like a decent price still. Can't see him losing today and i think he will beat bjorn. Only poss tiger to stand in his way of a place (providing tiger gets through). Hes also one of the best up and downers on tour at minute So I've put me money down with me other bet of Justin rose

3 favs are struggling woods Mc ilrory and Donald

Woods looks alright, for all that he is behind. He's had lots of putts just miss.
Rory looks horrible! Who knows about Donald - as lufc said, have barely seen a shot. The market will go crazy if all three get knocked out. Poulter might even hit single figures ![]() |

Am fairly shocked at the manner of Rory's play. Surely it was a bad call to use a new putter. I made a seriously bad error when forgetting to green out after 3 holes. Could have got any price Shane. Ended up redding out late when Shane went 2 up first time.... at least saved about €220 of my stake. Shane was so honest in his interview whereas Rory was blaming a few errant iron shots. Shane needs to improve to win his next match but that was some learning curve. I would be dead if a golfer I know actually knew I backed McIlroy. But at least he gets to take the p..s out of me forever after that.

Quite happy with my e/w bet on Russell Henley at 150/1. He has a great game for matchplay golf and he looked very good against Schwartzel. Such a shame though that Ladcrooks screwed me as when I checked online it was 1/4 the odds for 4 places so walked to my local shop to put the bet on and they print it off their system for me pre play yesterday. Check my slip after Henley wins today and notice that they have changed the odds to 1/2 odds on 2 places yet they are still offering 1/4 the odds on 4 on their site in play...

Dont think he used a new putter , tober , he amended the shaft and added a bit of weight , but it was the same putter he used last time .
But those who questioned the manufacturer change at this stage of a 2 year super winning streak are maybe starting to get a bit more credibility . Nick Faldo was nearest the mark for me , about 2 months ago when he was asked whether it was a good idea for Rory to switch . He put up a big question mark about it , and events so far have been proving him right . Rory used Titleist equipment ( which included the ball ) up to last November , probably has a garage full of that equipment back here , and today he said his iron shots were not good enough . One shot I saw tonight was a simple 130 yard wedge which pitched 10 yards past the pin and ran away to 60 plus feet from the pin -- 3 putted . At his level that is ludicrous , he should have had a 10 footer for a birdie instead of a 3 putt bogey . Anyone with any control over their short irons should never be anywhere approaching 3 putt territory . Swing is the same , driving well apparently according to himself , but the irons seem to be work in progress . Plus the ball factor . Mark Calcavecchia one time ran out of balls during a practice round and borrowed some from Jack's bag , they were going all over the place , nowhere near as good as his own , but Jack was such a good ball striker it didnt matter to him . But it did to Calc . Balls matter , Hogan was the original master before anyone else twigged . He tested every ball before he used it , nobody else did in those days . Gave Hogan a big advantage . |

Go back and claim palpable error tomorrow , colldogg . If its good enough for the goose , its good enough for the gander . Computer systems aint always right , if some operator puts rubbish in it will come out rubbish . Check with them .

Cheers Kelly, I will ring their customer services up tomorrow morning. It would be very annoying was he to lose in the semis

Hi Colldogg, Ladbr...s were offering two markets for the Matchplay, one at 1/4 first four and one at 1/2 1st or 2nd. It looks as if whoever took your bet used the latter.. Good luck though in trying to get it fixed..
