He was hardly 'hacking lumps out of the fairway' was he? Saw him hit the turf a couple of times with his 3 wood but did not look like he even caused a divot, let alone 'hacking lumps'.

he left scars o the fairway both times.look , we dont expect woods to behave with much grace at the best of times but it would be nice for him to avoid whacking the ground and maybe . just maybe skyshould grow a pair and say something about it.no doubt its frustrating for woods not o be quite as unbeatable as he was in the past but hesnot doing too bad. feck knows what hed be like in a real crisis.other top player hit poor shots but they dont act l;ike woods.

Agreed sickoflay. Typical petulance from Mr woods. Ive found it very baffling neither him or mcilroy have played many events so far this year. Maybe two max for both of them and its nearly march. Not saying this is the reason they both lost yesterday but it seems its those two vs the rest of the field at the moment Woods didn't have many problems at torey pines when he won at a canter. For woods and McIlroy its about the majors. They will be looking to peak at Augusta. They are both playing the next two weeks and then will probably play another before Augusta. This event is always a bit of a lottery. McIlroy was poor yesterday and lost fair and square. Woods match was always a potential banana skin and Howell deserves credit for how he finished it off. |

Never backed it tobe, decided against going deeper red on the field. A good decision after his 18th, but had I have backed I would have my stake back now anyway so should've pulled the trigger maybe. A good day anyway with my 3 remaining going through fairly convincingly and the draw is wide open now with more big guns falling out. Total lottery.
