^ stupid comment really...At present he seems to be more bothered about flying around the world to watch his girlfriend lose in first round matches than play golf..It was  only a few weeks back he was in a playoff so he can switch it on when he likes.

Really needs to get more focused on his golf. Spending to much time travelling. Will win alot but how much depends on himself. Too many good golfers out there and you need to be on it all the time to win alot.

Trouble is now with these good younguns coming through is that all are compared to what Tiger Woods was doing back in the day, Woods was a total one off. Not see the like again

missed cut at sawgrass and now here. hopefully it will be the kick up the rear he needed to realise that he cant just sit back and think he has the game beaten without having the dedication he had when he was on the way up.

got to no 1 in the world to soon in his career just like the belfast boy george best, rose to the top and ended in the gutter.i dont think the bike he and many has ridden is helping him focus on golf either.

will ignore above comment about the greatest ever footballer
rory believes the hype that he is no 1 but his golf and demeanour are far too erratic
casual approach to one of the easiest courses for his game
maybe he is being sidetracked by his lady friend
but to even get to 10% of what tiger has achieved is in my opinion impossible

There, you can advertise "free money" on Celtic, and Newcastle...Cry

Rory is feeling insecure about miss Wozniacki. She is spending plenty of time surrounded by tall, athletic and good looking tennis players. He is trying to pump himself up at the gym but he is still a weird looking lad. He is full of paranoia about his performance in the bedroom.

Having seen him close upsides at Wentworth on the 1st day, I can tell you his whole body language and attitude gave the impression that his mind was elsewhere and hence the assumptions about his girlfriend. You shouldnt forget he also changed his agent from Chubby to Connor and it might be that this move has also given him second thoughts. His talent is there for all to see and it would be great if his support network can get his head straigh in time for the remaining majors.

Dont be too quick to write him off just yet, remeber the Masters blow out and all the harbingers of doom saying how mentally scarred he would be, he then came out a few weeks later and gave the best performance in a major since Tiger won by 15 at Pebble.

He will be ready for the US Open and will finish top 5.

Well said Golfdaft.Totally agree.
The lad simply doesn't like it at Wentworth,(or Sawgrass)and lets face it,he is not alone there.

the little tim plays like a 12 year old when out of contention.

Also, for someone brought up on windy links courses, when there is a bit of
wind he goes  missing.

I have never ever seen boy wonder play a punched shot.

Half thye field dont like Wentworth but have to turn up due to the prestige of the event and to honour sponsorship commitments, Rory, Harrington et al. Good points Aberdonia, but it should be noted that he wasnt really brought up on windy courses, he spent a huge amount of time in the USA from a very young age.

His exceptionally high ball flight doesnt work in strong wind, but make no mistake, if the wind is down at Portrush ( he shot 63 here at 25 years of age I think )he will murder the filed and the same applies at Lytham.

If the wonderkid gets to see your photo Aberdonia he may well be looking to ditch that tennis chick in favour of your good self.

61 it was golfdaft . Think he was round the back nine in 28 .  Unbelievable if you have ever played the Dunluce .

Rory did not look right yesterday , did not see any of his play today . Think he needs a few weeks at home with his real mates . Trekking round the tennis circuit not the best preparation . For flips sake there is only one tournament a year played on the proper surface .

The bit about not liking Sawgrass I can take , but not Wentworth .  They made a few mistakes via Ernies ( modified) changes , but think they have rectified that .

Yep just about to say it was 61. Saw the scorecard in the clubhouse when I played there. Phenomenal round of golf on a very, very hard cours, even when it's still.

Agree with Golfdaft..also watched him live on day one and he looked a beaten man after 6 holes!Think of all those boys and girls who have tickets to watch him today and they are left very disappointed! The British public have two chances to watch him in this country and the guy doesn't even try..That effort is nothing short of shameful complete disrespect to the Europeantour and his fans.I sat in the granstand on 14 yesterday and watched guys who were 7 over par  still trying their best to my the cut, then came along Rory...a said above like a 12 year kid!
Those that compare him with Woods are having a laugh..Woods made something like 142 on the spin and when he did miss a cut ...it was by one or two shots, this guy throws in the towel after 9 holes...!

I'm not sure anyone has to 'buy',not liking a golf course.
Mr Harrington never liked Wentworth, and he never will.......Mr Woods never liked Sawgrass. The lad doesn't like both courses.
No biggy folks.
Move along........nothing to see here.......as Lee John is saying at this moment.
