Cauley, to me already looks are more complete player than Fowler.

There is not a triple waiting to happen in Cauley's game on what i have seen.

Fowler is a bombscare on the golf course.

A few weeks back he 4 putted from inside 10 feet.

Great start Kev, well done with the Every pick. My team got off to a poorish start but with 6 of my 13 level or better I haven't lost hope yet.

Surprised at you not locking in at least some Every profit. He seems a very low price to me given I think its extremely difficult to come anywhere replicating such a phenomenal round the next day for anyone, let alone Every. From his season stats he seems prone to throw in some shockers with some regularity and having backed him a few times this year he has always flattered to deceive.

hi,

im with Bexley on this, Every has put in a few dodgy rounds after good ones, and with the round he shot yesterday being rather exceptional i would be amazed if he shoots under par today.I think his price is the shortest its going to be.

good luck with however you play it tho

If I'd backed Every (which I didn't) I'd be laying a chunk off. He's shown he can produce some shockers to go along with the good stuff and the current price is short imo given that we have 3 days to go and dodgy weather about (which is the biggest worry imo). He could go out and blitz this today and put daylight between him and the field but I'd imagine it's more likely he will come back to the pack. GL.

If I had backed Every (which I did last week, but not this Cry), I'd would be holding on to him. Very lttle quality up there with him.
I've added a wee bit of Rich Beem. Looks to be the best value of the chasing pack.

Very little quality himself thats the worry tbh Laugh

Exceptional round yesterday if he does well today and his price is shorter he will shoot up in my estimation.

All about opinions. I think that he does have a bit of quality about him...

Probably go and shoot an 80 now.

He's 29 which is still young in terms of golf I guess. He has 2 'proper' top 10's this year (not counting the Mayokobo) so I'm perhaps being hard on him. But he does seem to struggle for consistency and from what I could see he didn't even manage to win a Nationwide tour event last year so 5.4 at this stage seems very very short even in this field and after that start.
In the spirit of your last post Maggot though he could shoot low again today and I'd look pretty stupid stating the above

Would you care to expand? Not having a pop, just genuinely interesting in what you see in him because I can't find an area of his game that particularly stands out looking at his career so far and his stats...

Well im hoping Rich Beem has another good round - did not get the odds that kev123456 got but still got him for an average of 560s.

If you take Every out then it looks wide open as Hunter Haas is none too consistant either.

Apart from Rich Beem I have 4 o5 players hovering at -1 or level par. Need one or two of them to have a good round today and Every to have an average day.

Cheers Bexley . I cant realy see anyone coming out the pack to be honest. If anyone does lets hoep its Beem :)

I think if every can shot - 2 he should hold a a good lead going in to the third round.

A few of the more reliable types have made good starts Kev - maybe just a good scoring day atm  - but with Palmer, Tringale and Streelman all under par for their round and the tournament it imo diminishes the chances of Every being the current price or lower at close of play today. Stronger winds and chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon also Cool

They mentioned this at the end of the programme last night. I guess just a gap in thier schedule or a decision to extend coverage by the golf channel or the yanks. As far as I can see no change to the tee times

cheers mate. so bexley whos your biggest green?
By:
bexley
When: 20 Apr 12 15:09
Biggest green is Tringale followed by Streelman then Jacobsen

Finally put my money where my mouth was with Every and laid him at 5.4/5.5

Great start by the chasing pack including and had to bear the weather forecast in mind

icluding Tringale Palmer and Streelman that should have read - just focussing on them as they were seen as contenders beforehand and all part of my 'team'

did you lay him big ? if beem gets going i shall green out on him me thinks....
By:
bexley
When: 20 Apr 12 15:15
no not big I don't normally lay people unless I'm already green with them and wanting to lock in some profit. I had about £700 in backs going and just laid him for £150 at 5.4is so thats tied up another £670 or so
I'm just experimenting with golf trading at the moment I'm not a big player by any means as you can see Cool

I cost my self a few quid with watson and petterson last few weeks greening up so think am going to man up and let every run :)
By:

When: 20 Apr 12 15:21
Fair enough Kev - Petterson was my biggest ever winning golf bet last week and I had learnt my lesson from the Shell in greening up on him too early so I didn't last week. I can therefore see where you are coming from Cool

Q, not good for me either here, hopefully a change of luck or china can help me out.

Hoping for Palmer, English or jacobson do get involved.

MW Roe is right, ask somebody like Wilson if he would swap 5 of his 9 second places for 1 win, its all about winning once you have earned the money

What Roe actually said is that he would rather have the titles and have earned no money in his career rather than just winning the money with no titles, which is very different to your point Eric re Wilson.
I guess he just wanted to emphasise his standpoint but its a strange point to make imo.

eric, chances now reduced to infintesimal to none.  Laid a winner on the horses as well.Sad
