Is it due to be raining heavy Eric? - in which case Noah is a good call
|
|
By:
We shall see
I have watched alot of Noh and do think he will be the upper level of the game. Hits it for miles, very good iron player, sometimes his course management leaves alittle to be desired! He will win just hope its sooner rather than later. Added Steele, Huh and KJ. TMM, maybe I am emotionally blinded as Noah is my sons name. |
|
By:
Thanks Eric I knew you must have your reasons and I'm willing to admit the 'stats' don't always tell the full story. Its only the last few weeks I have watched anything other than the majors on tv so I don't know these players at all yet.

Taken stake out of Mark Anderson, but still a nice winner.
Added Erik Compton, and Brian Harman. Good chance that there will be a first time winner this week, IMO. Few more hooks dangling waiting for a bite. |
|
By:
After digging into the selections posted the last day or so on here I have backed a few more taking my starting trading team up to unlucky #13 from my original 7. Most added are in the 40-60's range and only backs to recover my stake or get small greens. The only player 100+ with a decent stake placed is Matt Bettencourt at 150's
Good luck to all for a successful week ![]() |

One final small bet for me - rd 1 leader Matt Jones 0.1 ew 100/1
|
|
By:
Surprised there is no love for Matt Every on here. A few top 10's this year and success on the Nationwide tour in similar tournaments to last year's winner Brendan Steele.

Any layers about?
Ton up for Roberto Castro (Top 5) @ 32. 33/1 with a couple of the books. |
|
By:
i backed Roberto @ 140 in the win market so i wont be laying him just now super hans...nice total driving stats.... has only missed 1 cut this season....texan born and ginger hair !
|
|
By:
The ginger hair tipped the balance for me.
I assume you are laying off as there's plenty of 150/1 non commission with the books. |
|
By:
i only use betfair..stupid i know but messing with multiple bookies is too much hassle for me.. good luck getting matched
|

Nothing much done yet. Had a bit on Harrison Frazar. Team of 16, mainly eric's. Will sleep on it because I can't really find a maxi winner. Main fancies, Walker and Palmer only 40s and 55s. Gold luck.

Certainly not the strongest field ever assembled on the PGA Tour which shows in the betting with a lot of players at much shorter prices than you're accustomed to seeing them at.It seems to be a course that tests most of your game but the thing that stuck in my mind from watching round this course the last 2 years was the amount of times near perfect approach shots would end up in run off areas around the green.Freddie Jacobson in his 2 goes here has finished top 5 both times which suggests the ability to scramble round here is very important.Long and straight driving would also seem to be important,so the winner will have all areas of his game tested round. My picks are as follows:
Kevin Streelman-A top 15 finish on his first go here last year,2 top 20 finishes in 2 of his last 3 starts on tour combined with good all round stats make this tour maiden a pick of mine this week. Brandt Jobe-Texas based Oklahaman who should handle any breeze if it appears and just a generally solid player who should relish this test.15th here last year on his only visit. Scott Piercy-Shot a course record 64 on his only visit here 2 years ago and if you combine that with a solid all round game,he looks one of the more interesting of the longer priced players this week.Seems to believe more in himself these days after finally winning his first event on tour last year. Danny Lee-Based in Texas like a few of the Korean born players, hopefully he's put the 2 weeks off since his last event in Houston to get aquainted to this track.Looked to be getting his act together last year with good performances on The Nationwide and European Tours but has been slow out of the blocks this year. His last 2 performances have been more encouraging though and i'm hoping his combination of long hitting and a handy short game might pay off here. He's a speculative bet all said though. Good luck all. |

Think I'll know how I'm going early on. Among the early starters Blanks, De Jonge and Two Gloves.. Maxi winners Harrison Frazer and Jamie Lovemark. Good luck.

Poor field......been busy on the euro tour this week as the field better over there
However traded Kuchar and backed Steele. That's all folks... |
|
By:
I have backed Kevin Na. This could be the worst bet of the year so far.

My best bet this week Kevin Streelman 45/1 ew. Has been posting some good scores recently with 1 round letting him down in the last 3 events .Hopefully he can eliminate the bad round this week.
Other bets Kevin Streelman 50 William McGirt 220 Kris Blanks 180 Bob Estes 210 Jordan Spieth 260 |

You do realise that Zach won both his titles on a different course kphunter? The La Cantera course he won on measured 6896 yards compared to the 7434 yards the present course being used measures (TPC San Antonio). It may be slightly longer this year though not 100% sure..

I've been championing Tringale and a lesser extent Chappell on here for while but i just can't back 'em at 44s and 60s especialy when i've backed them well into the three figures in the past,so just the one bet so far this week Brian Harman at three times the odds of the two mentioned.
GL All. |

Good luck with Harman, lufc. I'm on.

Hoffman up to -1 and there's $20 there to back at 34s... That's temporarily generous of Aussie Driver
![]() I'm on Na so the fast start by all the other favourites doesn't please me much. |

Suspended? Or just a slow scoreboard.
|
|
By:
Troy being backed under at under 20.
Must have got to -7 while the scoreboards stopped. |
|
By:
Wow Matt Every has burned the course up. Can't believe anyone would back him outright at 4/1 though - bust be bonkers

Bud Cauley is going to be a player. Got all the shots including a knock down punch shot.
Great putter as well. Very impressed with the lad. May be good enough to win this year. |

By:
He will win before Fowler the way he is going....
