I go to the event every year. On my way to the course now to watch Paul Lawrie's group this morning. Weather seems calmer today although still windy. Will be interesting to see what it's like on the course.

Nice to see scott Jamieson making a few birdies, I think anybody -3 or better will be in good shape for a win tomorrow

this course you can shoot -7 or -8 tomorrow those on -3 will have a chance believe me, yes I do expect the leader to be -8 and that will be Hanson or so I hope.

If had to pick a likely type right now, it would be Kaymer after a back nine blitz.

Ricardo gonzalez is overpriced for a lad who has 2 top 20s in the last 2 years, has had just one bogey all week. That will be my only bet this week, hold for the treble bogeyMischief.

I went out and watched the Lawrie/Hanson/Molinari group play the front 9.

Lawrie = solid
Molinari = up and down, putted poorly
Hanson = scored well but only hit 3 out of 9 greens on the front nine. He holed two shots from just off the putting surface.

Wind no where near as bad as yesterday. I've left the course now and watching the rest on tv.

you have to believe someone will get it to at least -8

they are like a pack of dogs and happy to run with the pace

hit the front and they look around for company

Hanson been shocking since getting to -7.
By:
sweetchildofmine
When: 04 Feb 12 12:44
so if -8 leads how far back can you come from to win this? in theory -2 would have a chance but its the sheer number of players between -2 and the lead thats the problem
By:

When: 04 Feb 12 12:47
Winner will come from no more than 3 back, hopefully ricardoHappy.

Is it 2 ball or 3 ball for sunday?
By:

When: 04 Feb 12 13:12
Hi Guys, at the start of this tournament I backed 10 players for a total stake of £163. As we go into the final round (Sunday) my situation is Paul Lawrie + £740, Colsaerts +£487 and Gonzales + £507. If one of the above doesnt win my liability is -£12.92....not too bad eh?
By:
sweetchildofmine
When: 04 Feb 12 13:33
yeah thats good, why not do a little bit more tinkering and get rid of the last bit of red
By:
sweetchildofmine
When: 04 Feb 12 13:34
lawrie is my only real hope and i backed nine at the outset
By:
sweetchildofmine
When: 04 Feb 12 13:35
so from a selfish point of view i hope the wind picks up a little..not too bad just linksy type wind

Sweetchildofmine, Have faith in Lawrie, I have. He is playing out of his skin these last three weeks. On Reporting Scotland 4 weeks ago he was speaking about his game and he said he was going to have a real go at getting into the Ryder Cup. Yes, he does make some daft mistakes but I feel that his determination may well get him through tomorrow...time will tell. GL anyway, whatever you decide
By:
sweetchildofmine
When: 04 Feb 12 14:10
the incentive is there, if he wins he gets into the wgc matchplay and the masters
By:
sweetchildofmine
When: 04 Feb 12 14:11
just feel if the wind gets up again it will blow a lot of his challengers off course without neccessarily hindering him a lot
