Yes its a funny old game. I thought Prospero ran ok though did trade to odds on in running. Probably my favourite trainer is Bekcett but I'm struggling to get a profit out of him this season.

The Based on LTO Performance selections - so far, since the thread started, has produced around 450 bets to date and is showing a profit of around 110 points to BFSP, I've done quite a little bit better than that by taking early prices.

The New Trainer selections are a bit stagnant at the moment, still in profit but not what I would like it to be. Most of the winners in this section are the ones that are well backed so watching the markets pays dividends here.

A lot of the selections are last time out winners but that's not the criteria at all I don't really mind where they finished last time out, its more about how they ran last time out in the context of today's race. Once I've narrowed them down its purely my own personal assessment as to whether to back them or not (all form based).

The recent form hasn't been that great at all, prior to today the last 75 bets have produced 21 winners and a profit to BFSP of just 2.20 points but 45 of the 75 have been placed and produce a profit of 14.68 points.

Our worst sequence of results has occurred during the last 75 bets when we had a period of just 3 winners from 26 (it happens)fortunately 15 of them were placed.

Its not always rosy, but this is a long term game.

Reqaaba a very nice winner at 25 Placed at 6.08.

Kims Dream wins at 2.75

Sorry Barrowboy, I should have added that the original intention of the thread was just for last time out winners and horses having their first run for a new trainer but the thread moved on quite quickly to including horses regardless of their position last time out.
