does seem a crazy price looking at qpr's record - i'vr traded a little 3-2 sunderland at 46 and can leave a bit on

otherwise milwall as advised and forest at ipswich have a sound claim at the current price based on the stats

Malky,

My issue with Green Army is thus...

Comes the "big un" on this thread.
Advises people, makes out as though he wins a fortune.

Yet, when somebody queries what he's saying and advising, and comments at how very primitive his assessments of goal chances and his complete and utter lack of understanding regarding the pricing of football matches   - he insults them and then blocks them.

Then all his little disciples gather around and protect him.

Where have I seen that before? Laugh

If he answers my question and allows me to explain why his logic is so retarded then I will leave him be.
Until then I feel duty-bound to expose his bullsh1t to any unsuspecting lurkers reading this thread or newbies that have been directed here

I'm not on here to be popular or make "friends"
I'm on here to discuss betting and trading.

In fairness to hejik he is asking a perfectly reasonable question that green army won't or can't answer...

In reference to the original thread, it's quite possible that you are the youngest on this forum smithy.
Certainly in terms of mental age

dlarsson I can no longer see the drivel he writes - but last week he didn't know the difference between a back and a lay - more less have the ability to dabble in probability theorem - sorry , I like a bit of banter but he's plain thick & I haven't got the patience  - jeez I have to explain this sort of thing to the kids and they are brighter than him - and a lot less boring

Also, please point out where it is I didn't know the difference between a back and a lay?

Well chaps what an expensive exercise Leeds proved to be
Sat looking at a loss of about £40 all day then nipped to the shops and its minus £100 and over minus £150 not long after

In the end I got out just before kick off with a loss of £110
Still in shock I was trying to work out why Leeds are nearly 3/1 at home to Leicester so I stuck a misery £30 back on them at 3.8 because he price in my book is just wrong
3 minutes Bechio penalty and I get the profit straight out because Sod's law just says Leeds wont win and my net loss is just over £80

Bring back the cricket!

pretty good night milwall doing the biz and playing the 0-0s and I can't look past them again tomorrow

man city are v poor in front of goal on the road so I'm looking for 18 0-0 at wigan to drop a point are more

if theres no goal at stamford bridge tomorrow in the first 10 0-0 will go boom as the fans turn - Im on at 19.5 + , its only 18 now

arsenal are increasingly impotent on the road , and at everton should find it tough - I'm full up on 0-0 at 15.5

and west brom look too long at 3.3 at swansea and esp 1-0 at 13.5

I had been warned to trust pinny when it goes all blue or pink but of course I knew better Leeds were never a 3's shot at home to Leicester and should have been 2/1 tops

Couldn't believe they hung on to 1-0 but there you go

Laid the Sri Lankan draw again at 1.26 it just seems too short and low risk

Smithy, this is your thread, but you do not seem to put many contributions where you identify a bet and give the amount which you have backed it with, close to the time you placed the bet, also you don't seem to give a stake and price you got out of the bet, near to the time you finished the bet.

At one point in this thread you stated that the majority of your bets were done and dusted before the match started, you may have amended this idea somewhat, but wont it be correct to say that many of your transactions are finished by time the football starts. wouldn't their be time to give this information if your done trading when the whistle blows? On Saturday you state that you play football and your trades are mostly completed an hour or two before kick-off, isn't their time to give your finishing positions close to the time these bets were acheived?

The original point of the thread was to pinpoint value but does your approach really fullfill this? if all it amounts to is a list of trades reproduced the day after the event?

What's your take on the draw in the Perth test sweet

Currently a lay at 4
One test in last ten drawn and 3 in last 21
Both sides will be desperate to win

Fill your boots now or wait

i personally would never lay the draw as high as 4.0 before a ball is bowled..you will probably get the opportunity to lay it much lower at some point...thats not to say i dont fancy the draw, just not as high as that

Thanks sweet advice duly noted and taken

Now could you please explain why there are so many draws in premiership at the moment and so many unders :)
By:
green army
When: 28 Nov 12 07:59
stickon a big % of prem goals are scored by a handful of sides, chelsea , utd , city , arsenal , and perhaps with the exception of utd they are going thro difficult patches particularly away from home where they are drawing rather than winning games

to a lesser extent the pitches , even prem ones for the last 2 weeks are completely soaked thro and difficult to play attacking football on eg villa v arse

Great post no moves.
You're not allowed to ask difficult questions on this thread though Happy
Tickles me how it's always "£1000 a week" aswell.
Was "£1000 a week profit" before he lost £600ish off of 2 trades.
That's no good then! Much easier to make "£1000 a week profit" when you only say what you did after the event

hi no moves I'm using bigger stakes now so it's harder to get matched I got $2.6 k on Liverpool last night at 3.1 and layed off at 3 this morning for $87 green all round. I can't afford for people to be jumping ahead of me in the queue.and I can't post in play bets pre event as I don't know what I'm betting on myself until the game starts as I'm match reading. I'm not posting anymore after today anyway it's turned into to much of a bitchfight on the thread.one thing I can say though is atleast I can leave with the thread being a success and I've quadrupled my bank and achieved what I set out to do which is learn the markets.I just did it in a shorter time than I expected. all the best and good luck in the future :)

stickon, over the saeson so far there have been 33% matches drawn
which is about 10 draws over, but from the same matches 54% have been
'overs' and that is also about 10 matches above. Usually the more goals
the less draws but that hasn't been the case so far, in fact far from
it. Backing draws so far this season would have produced a healthy
profit, but it's not likely to continue although who can tell?

Was easy when everybody just belived what they typed Kenilworth.
As soon as people started questioning them they start blocking and leaving the thread.
Parting post is even another huge aftertime.

Ask yourself people, if everything here was above board, they were really making loads of money, and there was no bullsh1t involved
Why can't they answer some very simple, reasonable questions?

Why do people care so much what anonymous people whom they will never meet, say on an internet forum?

Last thing at night hejik was on here having a dig, then he goes to bed, gets up and the first thing he does is come back on here having a dig again!

And as if constantly having a go on here wasn't enough, Kenilworth even went to the trouble of starting another thread on the football forum about it. I could perhaps understand it was bob vegas or some teenage noob on here, but from what i can gather hejik is far from that and kenilworth is old enough to be smithy's grandad.

At least it looks like you have both succeeded in your 'mission' though, this thread will now die and another good forumite is hounded off the forum. Pat yourself on the back lads, well done.

Biscuit, please take the time to read the thread over the last few days before chucking in your tuppence
Thanks

"Mission" was to get them to answer some very simple questions which they are clearly unable to do
There reactions are those of bullsh1tters exposed not people who were "hounded off the forum".

Unfortunately it takes 2 sides to argue, so to sit there and say it was all hejik and Ken is not true at all.

I recall insults directed at ken about living with parents, insinuations that he liked underage people and comments about hejiks intelligence.

Not taking sides but just saying it takes 2 sides to constantly bicker, and both sides were giving as good as they got insult-wise. And to try and use any kind of well they started argument, well that would be pretty feeble.

The person that I thought came out of this the best was Andriy. Gave some very useful input, never once boasted about profit and never once got involved in any bickering from what i recall. Good on him.

Good luck to everyone in their future betting/trading.

I also dont want to "take sides" but i for one enjoyed the thread and judging by the number of views so did many others, it really is very simple if you dont like the thread dont open it anyway today im in the queue for 0-0 on stoke and everton at 10 and and 15.5 i also dont like to post before im matched which is were the aftertiming thing came from i think.

As a neutral reader/observer of this thread .... I do find it disappointing that it has taken a side-ways step involving a lot of tit-for-tat posts ....

It is commonly argued that 'to help protect others' someone will carry on with an argument to prove someone is wrong .... I personally think as long as I (and for all of as individuals) are happy with their own view on something (whether it be a market, type of betting, the statistics we look at or simply our view in a football game etc) then there is no need to badger someone simply to 'to protect others'. We are all grown-ups who can think and fend for themselves ....

The only thing I get irritated with is when contributors can't back up their comments with actual bets showing clearly they were able to (as an example) trade out without loss when clearly the market kept moving against them .... but hey you can only ask rather demand someone ...

all the best with your betting.
