Fellaini is suspended which everyone knew about as soon as he was booked last week. The drift is because Everton are likely going to have to line up with Jagielka right back with Duffy partnering Heitinga in the middle. Barkley may also have to start in midfield/off the striker.
I'm sure Pardew has already ruled out HBA for 2 weeks...Cisse has a good chance of playing but back up Shola Ameobi will likely be missing. |

One of the fundamental rules of gambling is that you should bet at the best available odds. The time at which those become available on football matches will differ from team to team and market to market. This means that the timing of a bet can have a significant impact on profit or loss over a season.
When betting opened on a 2006 World Cup tie, the following prices were available on Betfair: 1.72 Germany, 3.8 the draw and 6.4 Poland. As the referee blew his whistle to kick off, they were rather different: 1.46 Germany, 4.9 the draw and 8.6 Poland. The example illustrates how in general the prices available for favourites are likely to shorten as kick-off nears while those for outsiders are likely to lengthen. It follows that if a strong team are being offered at a good price, bettors should get on as quickly as they can. If a weak team are being offered at a good price, wait. They are likely to be available at a better price later on. A large number of bets are placed shortly before kick-off and most of them, naturally enough, are on the most fancied competitors. In non-result markets - bookings, corners etc - the best policy is nearly always to bet early. These are the markets in which bookmakers are most likely to have radically different opinions and someone will be wrong. The first bookmaker to release prices in a market will not know if they are very different from those of every other bookmaker. As other bookmakers release their prices, the initial bookmaker gradually becomes aware their odds are out of line and they have made a mistake. As time goes on, out-of-line prices tend to disappear. Professional gamblers say betting at the best available odds can be the difference for them between profit and loss over a campaign. Every punter can profit from this knowledge by betting at the right time. |

yes do the same myself sweet on the horses, i used to back and lay blind before race lost more than i won, i like to follow the big trainers ie nicholls, henderson. mcain when they hit form.
i think mo farrah is a great price at 7 its seems geared up for him to win. |

Oh i thought I read injured, my mistake with Feillani. But you see the regular punter (myself included) doesn't get this info until now when the previews are published. So Sir Fresh you know a bit about Everton, get in there quick and reap the rewards.
We all know getting the best price is the difference between winning and losing. Afterall, we can only hope for 105-110% ROI when straight betting. The markets the bookies spend least time are often the most profitable, but then they are also the least liquid. |

By:
IQMC - I'd argue that the people who place footy bets days before the game are likely to be more clued up than the regular punter. The Everton drift has had nothing to do with Fellaini, imo, and more to do with other injuries.

having a v close look at the weather tomorrow - looks a bit like the day after tomorrow coming in from the west from lunchtime
what effect will this have - maybe not too much, but even at prem clubs saturated pitches subject to further downfalls plus galeforce winds throughout the game, well my preference is for villa 5.1 v arsenal plus 0-0 - 18.5 and 1-0 - 21 - arsenal games away from the emirates are below average goals so these prices look too high anyway maybe even a little back of qpr at these prices with the wind and rain a factor & a backs to the wall job & harry maybe attending ? and starting to lay my roma at pescara 0-0 at 28/29 backed at 34/36 so maybe roma are gonna play a keeper |

maybe sunderland to win 1-0 at 9.6 is a little on the high side

Morning all
Can anyone see a scenario where the Test match is a draw? I laid the draw early doors and can easily get out with good profit but I'm sooooo tempted to hang on Managed to back Leeds last night at 3.1 and 3.05 Now about 2.9 and I'm expecting maybe 2.8 or 2.75 Always seem to shorten and with new owners and a couple of new loanees I think there will be money for them |
|
By:
stickon- tbh i don't really know what i'm doing with cricket but as i wake up just as lunch is starting on the first day there seems to either a few wickets fall or a decent run total which makes the draw drift out. apart from bad weather which is highly unlikely in india i can't really see how the draw could come in for the first two hours play. if anyone could explain that would be helpful

Cricket is the the most boring game in the world, if you suffer deppresion and begin to feel suicidal while watching it do not consult your doctor, these feelings are quite normal.
Long term addiction could leave you with brain damage and has been linked to schizophrenia. |

sorry - laying the draw

This weeks tip, lay Everton at 1.5.
I didn't do very well with this, just backed them at 1.51, disapointing seeing that they were 1.55/1.56, yesterday. I still do not believe they will defeat Norwich this afternoon, I won on lasts weeks trade but I'd have won a lot more if I hadn't traded and just let the bet run. |
