.... I talk about timing and luck sometimes but I must admit in this bet (which is going to be a nice winner) .... it is funny how sometimes having bad timing can quickly change for the better ...
just got back on to the computer from dinner ... and wanted to lay Elfsborg in the football 0-0 at HT and looking for a juciy lay at 2's ... in the hope to green up later ... Put in the lay but not matched so did it again with slightly increased odds ... then suspended .... ahh I missed out at first thinking I had saved some money then saw that it was 0-1 to the GAIS team ... so thought damn missed out on a nice lay opp. Then thought stuff this backed GAIS at a bit over 2's ... in hope I could trade it later (while watching BF video) ... so yep that's what I did ... Then it suddenly hit 0-2 and now 0-3 ... lets just a nice win which can be sometimes simply down to timing ...  |

why can't you post up your profit and loss daily from your betfair account? I have to say I enjoyed this thread but I am beginning to be a bit sceptical because who is to say that your are only showing some of the bets matched in a market?

why can't you post up your profit and loss daily from your betfair account? I have to say I enjoyed this thread but I am beginning to be a bit sceptical because who is to say that your are only showing some of the bets matched in a market? I did have a nicely worded long reply to you but suddenly got logged out so I will keep it brief ... The thread and what I post is for me first and foremost and secondly for others to occasionally post. I want to keep the thread as a 'live and active' one and by posting up my bets I hope it allows me to learn both the good and bad in what I do. I did set out to put up bets literally asap - but have found this what affecting me not only with my betting but also just getting on with other things in life. Other followers assured me that I should focus on what is manageable for me as opposed to simply trying to prove to others ... because simply no matter what I post or when I post it there is always going to be some people that believe and others that simply don't. I assure you the challenge and all the bets I place are for real but to be honest I don't care anymore whether people believe me or not. Now I could simpy post up my P&L each day but I think the thread would be a bit boring otherwise ... but I am happy to try it out if you want. But bear in mind I am not here to prove to you or anyone else that it is for real ... Sorry if you think I have made something up ... what do you think I have done which looks a bit suspicious today - what with the last football bet ??? What do you want me to do ... this is what happened so I am going to put the bet up ... Likewise the other day I played some rugby matched during the night and they all won nicely .... (i was up with pain from my hip operation) ... but because they came in nicely - what do you want me to do simply not post them because they occured late at night and I could only update the thread till late on in the morning ... Likewise I have put on here some pretty hefy losing bets/periods - one only a little while ago where I wasted quite a few thousand over a two day period. I assure you if I was making up all of this I would have hit the £75K mark by now I assure you the challenge is for real and all the bets have been placed but quite simply I am not here to try and force you into believing me ... No I am not suggesting you stop putting up your bets either but adding the profit/loss statement at the end of the day also. I appreciate that the thread is for you first and foremost but since you are putting it on a public forum you have to except to have input, be it positive or otherwise.
Just my opinion and as I said in the early part of this thread, best of luck going forward. |

Yep I could just post up my daily P&L (and not even worry about posting up the bets) ... Mmmmm might sleep on that ... and it certainly would be a lot easier to make up some nice juicy profit figures and naturally I would be hitting the £100K say next week ....

Yep I could Jamesdean but if you want it to be easy for me (remember it is my thread not anyone elses) why didn't you suggest that I post up my p&l and not worry about posting up all the bets as and when ...
Without getting too technical ... I then have to face a drilling from the likes of yourselves when the challenge summary thread total from one day to the next is different to the P&L figures - now I know why it would be but I will leave the mystery to others to work it out ... okay I will give you a hint - it is in the way the p&l calculates what is included in the p&l for that day/period. anyway I will consider it ... |

tbh undern your on here for atleast 12 hours a day posting,cant see how a quick cut and paste of your p+l at the end of each day would make life any harder for you
as a few people have said previously you could easily be missing out other trades, you say its just for yourself mainly so would it not be good for you also if you could look back at the thread and see your p+l for each day? you post on a public forum and gracefully take any plaudits but then try and cut anyone down who asks you any questions you don't like p.s genuinely lol at paulme's 21.46 comment |
