HT

6SOT V 3SOT

6*0.4=2.4 GOALS V 3*0.37= 1.11 GOALS

My interpretation is that i would be surprised if Sheff wed scored in this gameLaugh. They have had 3SOT in first half and hudd concede an average of 2.55Sot per game. the other argument could be that wed have had more Sot then the average team but i am hoping like the newc game that the distribution will even out and wed should have a quiet second half.Laugh

Huddersfield also above sot at ht so if we take this as distribution then it should be a quieter second half for them.

Ft prediction.

2-0.

Hudd are not shooting as accurately as normal.Laugh

Review of game.

Learning to look at sot average rather then sot in each half.

Both teams had average games, the only difference is that hudd would have scored more if more accurate which they normally are or was the wed keeper on fire?

i was anticapting a second hudd goal but it never game.

would i have backed unders at ht at evens?

not confident enough yet/

qpr and bristol city both had an average half Sot wise. (3) v (2) almost bang on expectation.Qpr had for more shots in the half then average, 11. the problem is that they have not been as accurate as normal hence 0 goals.

expectaion is for a qpr goal or two in the second half.

Summary of game.

Qpr average 6sot a game and they had exactly 6 sot today.

expectaion for 6sot is 2.16 goals and they scored 2 so bang on.

i am very surprised that city scored 2.

they should have scored 0.6 goals.

My first reaction was to think that city will not score 2 so i layed 0-2 and 2-2. i then thought of my friend coachbuster and greened out 2-2.Plain

the important thing is at ht sot was saying that qpr should score and they did. i appreciate in the sunderland game it was saying they will score and they did not so we have to react to games like that(not sure how).

qpr played an average game in attack but not in defense.

cant think of anything else to add but it is uncanny how the Sot is so accurate for many teams..... week in week out. with barca etc they have good sot days and bad sot days....

the way to exploit this must be to lay correct scores in anticipation of goals or lack of them and back correct scores in anticipation of goals.

i put in a lay of 1-1 but too greedy.

what do you think weatherking

barnsley summary 6sot which is above their average but that predicts 2.16 goals and they scored 2. never any danger of unquoted which went under double figures,

ipswich sot projection 1.56 goals and they got 0
forest sot projection 1.08 goals and they scored 1.

an average game for ipswich so unlucky not to score.

but unquoted layers never had anything to worry about.

Zaragoza 4.5sot*0.27= 1.2 goals expectation v opponent 6sot*0.4=2.4 goals.

will try and have a look at other Spanish.

think 7.00pm rambling will be Zaragoza.

Think you need to trust the average during a game even if some team gets off to a flyer with the shots/sot and back/lay correct scores in running. Will be back on later and see if i can keep up with you on the zaragoza game.

jonnyg - I think the key is to use your stats to exploit the prices when the match score doesn't reflect how the game is going, as in your QPR example with overs at 5.0. Dutching correct scores would be one way of doing that and you'll hopefully land some tasty prices if things really go your way. Good luck anyway

... also the nature of football is that you will get games like Sunderland where it's a 0-0 but you can't work out how it happened. If you're backing odds against or laying very short odds I think you'll ride out those games without any problem. What I'd avoid is laying odds against, no need when you can catch some big odds with backs
