70 gone and 0 Sot in second half.

the quick fire SotX3 in the first half got me to green out my unquoted.
Newc average 3.55sot away and at ht they did 4. but 0 so far in the second half. |

Summary of the day.
sot projection was that Chelsea would not score 4+ as teh game progressed although it never had villa down for goals and they scored 3. In the celtic game sot projected very early that neither team would score 4+ but still a shock that celtic got 2 st johnstone game and at ht sot projected a home goal and they scored. in the wigan game early indications were that no team would score 4+ but then newc score and have a cluster of Sot quickly indicating more goals which have not come yet. wigan sot projected through the game that they would be lucky to score one. nearly ft and none so far. so not too bad. some tweaking to do. but could work over time. |

wigan have underperformed
average 13(7) and they have done 9(2) newcastle overperformed in first half but underperformed in second half leaving 13(4) when they average 11(3.55) away. the spread of Sot is what i need to learn. the 3 early sot got me thinking newc goals and infact they are just slightly over in this game. |

13(8) they average 5.25 shots on goal at home and Sot ratio of 0.27083333 8*0.27083333=2.166666664 goals and at 1-1 it was just under 2 as they entered added time. |

At the suggestion of some chap on here i had a look at average number of SOT that OPPONENT have at huddersfield. It is 2.45(you will be shocked at that?) would explain why they have only conceded 10 goals at home but the awat teams AVERAGE a high SOT OF 0.37. 0.37*2.45=0.9 and average goals conceded at home is 0.9. |

Huddersfield Home SOT 4.00(taken out one game as stats gave 2sot and they scored 4???)SOT ratio is a very high 0.40. 0.4*4=1.6. and avergae goals scored at home is 1.63.

They have had 3SOT in first half and hudd concede an average of 2.55Sot per game. the other argument could be that wed have had more Sot then the average team but i am hoping like the newc game that the distribution will even out and wed should have a quiet second half. Huddersfield also above sot at ht so if we take this as distribution then it should be a quieter second half for them. Ft prediction. 2-0. Hudd are not shooting as accurately as normal. |
