Ryan88  .. the difference between backing  or laying  on the greyhounds is less than 2 percent .. if you dont beleive me , your picks  today work em out to a 1 point win  then work em out to to  a i point  lay .. zip aint got the time  but you  or someone will come on with the answers .. cause theres loads of  mathematician on here .. good luck .

I here what your saying but... for example my first 6 lay selections in the 6 races that have run at Hall green have bagged me a 12 quid (6 out of 6 correct) laying my picks for just £2 each...

Im not making any mathematical points or saying I have a system, I simply know my greyhounds and would rather lay than back.

and that £12 has been lost in two races at Sheffield putting me back to where I started (of course I get some wrong)but over the course of the day I should be showing profit.

On paper I use the SP to work out losers but in general I never risk more than £12 on one dog, and freddiewilliams you arrogant tw*t if you dont like the thread don't read it.

A premium charge has nothing to do with me. I play at small stakes and DO NOT PROFESS TO BE ANY KIND OF EXPERT you ar*se hole

ryan, do yourself a favour and go on the daily bags thread on the greyhound forum, i did well today and got out. there are guys there who make money every day and post their selections up, there are guys there also who lose and post their selections up everyday before each race. they all know about the premium charge, and you would be welcomed, you have to appreciate that you are swimming with sharks outside of that forum! ... and they will eat you alive
By:

well done ryan, now see if you can do it tommorrow, then the next day, then next week, next month and then the whole of next year.

i bet you can't .......
By:
Ryan88
When: 06 Dec 10 13:56
I've done it every day for the last 7 and made an average of £35 per day laying at £2.

of course I will lay winners from time to time. So what?

I will challenge anyone to post their lay selections for any of tomorrows meets and I will do the same, and we can see who comes out on top.

And if none of you want to do that, you best keep it buttoned.

Simple as.

only a mug would post his selections up for the whole day in advance in the winter with weather like this, there are reserves running all over the country and track bias is a major factor !

If you can show me a system to lay rags on BF at industry SP I will give you 10k. Every meeting every day the no hopers are between 7/2 to 10's on the show yet 20 to lay on here.
By:
Ryan88
When: 06 Dec 10 18:15
The dogs i choose to lay aren't 'rags' they are often favourites or second favourites.

And If it isn't possible to lay at odds of 7 or less then I leave it. Simple as.

Hall green: 10 out of 10
Sheffield: 7 out or 9
Monmore: 7 out of 8
Yarmouth: Starts at 18.33

Ryan, dear me. Have a word with yourself mate & take things a little easier.

I might be wrong, but I got a sneaky feeling this might end in tears.

Best of lucky though, always welcome new people to the dogs. Like Irishone says, try the bags threads. It is very easy going & welcoming too and you won't be putting yourself up on show like this while you get to grips with things.

I agree dave, he laid 4 S P rags out of 10 selections at hall green. Clearly delusional and living in denial.

Hall Green:
11.03 trap 5    2nd 5-1 rag
11.19 trap 6    2nd 3-1 2ndf
11.34 trap 2    6th 8-1 rag
11.48 trap 5    2nd 4-1
12.04 trap 3    4th 2-1 2nd fav
12.18 trap 2    3rd 7-1 rag
12.32 trap 3    3rd 9-2
12.47 trap 1    5th 5-1
13.04 -
13.19 trap 5    2nd 5-1 rag
13.33 trap 6    3rd 3-1 2nd fav
13.51 -

No probs Dave, this thread was in no way meant to be about 'me being an expert' or making anyone rich or winning a fortune, i just thought i'd show how a make a small steady profit.

Total for today at 4 meets: 31 out of 34 correct lays

hall green: 10 out of 10
Monmore: 7 out of 8
Sheffield: 7 out of 9
Yarmouth: 7 out of 7

Not saying I cant lose but I show profit.

AND NOBODY CAN KNOCK THAT.

Let me ask a simple question from an all time non layer or backer of any and all doggies.
Is greyhound racing supposed to be as corrupt and fixed as HR ?
By:
irishone
When: 07 Dec 10 01:27
I am sure there are instances of corruption out there but its a matter of degree. I have had the first six months of 2010 results analysed and
only 4 of them actually won, so if it is bent and corrupt the guys putting on the money aren't doing a very good job Laugh
