She has just won 6-4 6-0, Jankovic also won so 2 of FS's lays have cost him. Tsonga to play shortly. I'm sure it is merely a blip, these things happen.

Hi guys, will be back in an hour or so, i basically only went back about 5 weeks, didnt really look at the BF SP except for the losing bets that i had which all tended to be below 12.0 in price.
I have detailed it all in an excel document but its on my home computer so cant forward it onto here as yet. I used the system a bit like ivors but have adapted it to suit some specific requirements, i looked at not laying horses with highest RPR, TPSPD, and 2 high achieving newspapers, but then found another bit of info which seemed to help with the picking of specific races. I looked into mr massey's site to see if i could adapt some of the races in which i lost in, a pattern seemed to appear in the losing races, ie (amounts of horses in race, weight of horse, previous runs) some of it makes very interesting reading!!! Im not saying that this system could prove to be value over a prolonged period of time but so far after just under 5 weeks it has achieved wonders!!! |
|
By:
I'll wait for that yay!
|
|
By:
mmmm
so you checked ivors theory then and not what came later.. |
|
By:
RPR, TPSPD, and 2 high achieving newspapers
that's what u checked it against then ??? |
|
By:
sorry, didnt mean to type 12.0 as the average losing odds, i had one horse lose at 10/1 SP but the majority of the otherlosers fell under 4/1 SP.
Will type a bit more later, get some shuteye guys, looks like you all had a long night!!! |
|

Ivors theory is ** brilliant for backing in maiden stakes, big profit backing, sh yte for laying.....he must have some filters for laying.
In the small sample I used it was handicaps that made most profit. But it was a small sample |
|

later bobby
read above in case u never saw what came later.. |
|

catch ye's later..

Only did Sunday so far FS... got to do SOME work today I'm afraid :-( Will get there I'm sure!!
This is just using the basic idea of tipsters mentioned on the last page or two, no filters, etc... I used Sporting Life for prices rather than BFSP. 7 races. Min price the 9/4 winner. Max 12/1. Max runners 12, min runners 6. |

FS- Not agains 2 top newspapers, more like all of the newspapers, even if 1 paper tipped a horse i tried to eliminate that horse.
Out of the first 4/5 horses in a race, after eliminating the criteria above i was always left with one horse to lay at odds of SP less than 12.0. If i wasnt left with a horse i would eliminate that race. Worked well over larger fields but obviously the smaller fields were slightly affected by this criteria |

Just for fun FS was up all last night looking at the theory, absolutely knackered this morning but have gone 52 races back so far with only 2 losing bets (winners) wil be going back as far as the RP historical tips will let me and will also be trailing it as of today. Will keep you guys posted.

Looks like a busy morning on a quiet day's punting.
Interesting what's being discussed here. I have a very successful flat hcap selection (backing) method that has a large number of criteria (and RPR is one of them). Funny thing is everytime I try to reverse it I still can't create a decent laying system (I think it separates the very good from the good, but not the bad from the ordinary). Was going to be a winter project in time for the new season. Perhaps I ought to make a start on while the action is slow. |

Hello chaps sorry to butt in on this thread have been reading it but not really had anything to add but im off work today so got a bit more time on here.Anyway the topic you are on about now i think the 4 tipsters are Spotlight, rpr,Postdata and the daily star.Hope this helps.

Depends. According to the Rp tissue, the lay was Blakehall Quest at 8/1. On Betfair over 25/1. If you were to follow this it would have been ok but don't fancy laying at that high a price. Maybe got stung on gamble. 16s into 5s.
